Perfect last evening in Seoul!!! - HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Soomin is a very warm hearted and nice host! We had such a great time together! It wasn’t easy for me to find vegan food in Seoul and thanx to Soomin I had a perfect dinner and last evening in Seoul. We made a whole menu together and it was really easy to follow her instructions. Easy and fun and I also learned a lot about traditional cooking in Korea. She was really well prepared and could tell me a lot about korean traditions. I think this workshop is a must do for all vegans, vegetarians and also meat eater! Maybe also good to know: it was the best menu I had in Seoul and you have to try her self made rice syrups!!! Soomin, I hope to see you in cologne next time, so that I can be also a great host to you! Thank you!

Great cooking class in Seoul - I can really reccomend this experience! Soomin is a great host, she will give you a lot of tips about korean food, as well as korean culture. The dishes we cooked together, are easy to cook also at home. At the end we ate together and talked a lot about food, culture, environment,… That’s an experience to do in Seoul and also if you are not vegan, you can learn a lot from Soomin.

Highly recommend it - Excellent course. We learned a lot. It was very personal as well (just us and Soomin). We can definitely recommend to anyone who wants to dive deeper into Korean (food) culture.

Really good cooking class for vegan Korean food! - The host was super friendly and welcoming. She taught us a lot about Korean food and table manners, and even gave us some great tips on vegan food in Seoul. The workshop was really well prepared, with the different dishes everyone could find something they liked. There was also room to add our own touches and get creative. It was such a nice and informative (and also delicious) evening! Highly recommend! Thanks so much!

Very special - It was the first time I ever took a cooking class and my high expectations were even exceeded! It is a great way to learn something about a country's culture and people. The host was very knowledgeable, patient and easy going, which created a fantastic atmosphere. I definitely recommend this class to anyone, vegan or nor vegan, who wants to connect to Korea.

A Wonderful experience - A wonderful small, hands on class! I really enjoyed the range of food created and the chance to learn about different ingredients. Bring a box for left overs or skip breakfast and go hungry!

Not only for vegans - What a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend this class! The instructor was informative, engaging, encouraging and truly made this experience special. She provided background information about the ingredients, answered all my questions and provided suggestions for substitutions if the ingredients are not available back home. I had no problem communicating with her and would recommend this class to vegans and non-vegans alike (since I am not a vegan, but want to cook in a manner which will be better for our planet). I am happy that I was her first guest from Hawaii and would love to have her visit me in Hawaii, as I feel we became friends during the class.

A wonderful hidden gem for everyone of all cooking levels - Not only was the food delicious, the host instructor was also great fun to be around and is also quite knowledgeable in her craft! The class was small, but it provided for more intimate and engaging conversations. Although this is a haven for vegans and vegetarians… you don’t have to be one to enjoy her class!

Seoul my vegan soul - Soomin is an amazing host, an excellent instructor and just great to talk to. I was super happy when I realised no one else booked my session and I could have a one-on-one exclusive session with her. Her instructions were super easy to follow for a newbie to Korean cooking. We talked about vegan/vegetarian food cultures, ingredients, recipes and international cultures. She very kindly offered me her absolutely delicious home-made plum and rose teas. With delicious food, great conversation and plans to organize global vegan potlucks in the future, I didn't realise how time passed so quickly!
