Our tour guide Marc did a... - Our tour guide Marc did a great job explaining everything, he was very informative. I was disappointed at the tour in a sense that it’s a City Tour and the expectation is to be able to see through the window while the tour guide speaks.!The backs of the seats in the van are too tall and the window is filled with stickers making it difficult to see the sights as we passed by. I believe the van is not appropriate for a sightseeing tour. Also we met the tour at the Grand Mercure Hotel and it seemed that the tour had already started so we didn’t get to see the Estaiada Bridge as they had already gone by there, it is a major landmark.

A Quick Highlight of SP - In this tour, participants will take a ride through well-known places in São Paulo, such as Batman Alley, Liberdade, and Centro. There are only a few places that participants will actually get to explore on foot vs. sitting inside the van. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the city, and was always happy to explain the history of the city, and answer questions. The majority of this tour was spent in Batman Alley (actually stopped for 30 minutes of free time), Centro (mostly drove through this area without stopping, and Mercadao (about an hour for lunch). The tour ended on Paulista Avenue, which is closed off to traffic on Sundays, and there are lots of different stores, merchants, shows, etc. which are fun to watch. I took a star off of this review because while it was really nice to be driven around town, it’s really hard to see outside of the van - especially if you sit in the elevated seats towards the middle and the back.
