• Chianti Road - Our professional driver will pick you up from your location (hotel, B&B, or private apartment) and take you on a scenic drive through the picturesque hills of Tuscany. This route is one of the most beautiful wine roads in Tuscany. We will travel through the charming Siena hills, surrounded by olive groves, cypress trees, and vineyards until we reach Siena.
• Siena - Our first stop will be in Siena for a self-guided tour. Siena is a historic city in the Tuscany region and serves as the capital of the province of Siena. The city is renowned for its stunning architecture and the beautiful main square, “Piazza del Campo.” Additionally, Siena’s historic city center is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The city is also famous for the legendary Palio horse race, held twice a year, attracting hundreds of spectators. Key attractions in Siena include the famous Piazza del Campo, the Duomo, the Baptistery, and the charming narrow streets of the historic center, such as “Via di città.”
• Podere La Marronaia- Le Colonne Biodynamic Winery & Farm - For lunch, we will visit a family-run winery, where we will enjoy a delightful Tuscan meal featuring homemade pasta, bruschetta, pecorino cheese, and extra virgin olive oil. This remarkable family of winemakers adheres to organic and natural production methods. All products are authentic, guaranteed, and of the highest quality. Each dish will be paired with different Tuscan wines to enhance their flavors: Tuscan red wine, Chianti Colli Senesi, rosé wine, 100% Sangiovese wine, and Vernaccia white wine. You will also sample five different varieties of extra virgin olive oil and three different tastings of Balsamic Vinegar. All of this will be enjoyed while taking in the breathtaking panoramic view of the Chianti hills and San Gimignano.
• San Gimignano - After lunch, we will head to San Gimignano for a second self-guided tour in the afternoon. San Gimignano is a small, walled medieval hill town near Siena, known as the “Town of Fine Towers.” During the Middle Ages, the city boasted more than 70 towers. Today, it is an open-air museum that transports visitors back to the medieval period. The town is famous for its saffron, Golden Ham, and its white wine: “Vernaccia di San Gimignano,” made from the ancient Vernaccia grape variety grown on the area’s sandstone hillsides. In the main square, don’t miss the chance to taste the world’s best ice cream, a two-time world champion (Gelateria Dondoli). As you stroll through the village streets, you can admire the extraordinary craftsmanship of local artisans. At the end of the visit, we will return you to your location, whether it be a hotel, B&B, or private apartment.
