Expectations Exceeded - This was the best shore excursion, ever, during our two-week Mediterranean cruise because of our phenomenal driver, Emanuele Colella. Initially, we had modest expectations for a driver who would also serve as a tour guide. However, Emanuele exceeded all our expectations with his remarkable knowledge of ancient and modern Rome. His expertise allowed us to gain profound insights into the city's rich history and culture.
Furthermore, he skillfully navigated the streets of Rome, enabling us to maximize the number of sites we visited and the time we had to explore them. Then, to top it off, when we asked him to take us to a restaurant that epitomizes Roman cuisine Emanuele came through, again. Sitting at a table together with Emanuele, enjoying great food and engaging in good conversation served as a perfect conclusion to our day in Rome.
When you also factor in the cost/value and the convenience of a personal driver to and from the port, this excursion is not to be missed when your time is limited in Rome.
Thank you, Emanuele, for making our experience in Rome truly unforgettable.

Amazing Experience in Rome - We had a wonderful tour with Emanuele! He was so kind, patient, very friendly and knowledgeable. We had an amazing experience even though it was hot and crowded - we couldn’t tell. Emanuele recommended a great restaurant and we were blessed to have him join us! The pasta carbonara was fabulous! 5 Stars - you will not be disappointed!

Awesome tour - What a great way to see Rome when you only have a few hours between back to back cruising. Emanuele gave suggestions and asked what we wanted to see. He planned the trip to maximise the short amount time we had. On top of it all, he is so prompt is responding to my queries prior to our trip. Highly recommended!

10/10 would recommend - Emmanuele was great! He was very helpful and knew a lot about the area and was able to provide a lot of helpful information about what to see and how to navigate the city. He was also accommodating to our situation.

Rome in a Day - Thanks Emanuele!!!! - Emanuele was amazing! He was very communicative prior to pickup and confirmed where we would find him on the dock when our ship arrived. He was easy to find, right where he said he would be. Was very open to showing us the items we wanted to see, and was able to navigate the various street construction shut down's that Rome put in our way. We visited at least 7 different locations and he was wonderful to both wait and be ready for us when we were done with our site seeing at each location. He had a great lunch recommendation for us as well. I would highly recommend his services - no need to go on a large bus to see the sites when you could have a private driver that will ensure you get back to your ship in plenty of time!

Great Rome tour from cruise ship - Emanuel is a great tour guide. He is from Rome and knows all the sites and how to get around quickly and navigate the crowds. His English is very good. Very friendly and accommodating. Great option if you’re visiting from a cruise ship docked in citavecchia. There’s not enough time to eat lunch so bring snacks with you. Only downside is the van AC wasn’t working well.

Amazing sites, views, narration and customization! - We have taken many private tours over the years and Emmanuel was by far the best tour guide we have ever encountered. He allowed us to customize our tour and provided us with amazing views to take pictures. He drove us right up to the sites and knew all of the alternative routes to avoid traffic. You could tell he loved Rome as much as we did and provided great narration of the city. We would not have been able to see even a fraction of what we saw on a cruise excursion. Use this company and you will not regret it!

Rome In a Day - Emanuele was our tour guide from Trip2Rome tour company. He picked us up at the entrance to our cruise ship at the scheduled time. His vehicle was very comfortable and cool on a hot day in Rome. Emanuele is very knowledgeable giving us a great tour in the limited time we had in Rome.
