Satisfied customer - This was a wonderful tour. A private minivan with an excellent driver/ guide made it possible for us to see Sorrento, Amalfi Coast, visit Positano and Pompeii. Only thing I would suggest is better communication between local guide, Viator and myself- if you have any issues with cellphone connectivity, this can be quite a challenge.
Nicolas was a very helpful guide and made every minute count. We are very happy we took this tour!

Naples private tour - Our driver/guide was Michele. This was such a beautiful experience! We loved the privacy in being in the car and being comfortable. Michele timed our tours within places to places so effectively that even though we only had about 12 hours for the whole tour since we were part of the cruise, and even though we had to rush through -- it still did not feel as rushed. We had to skip Amalfi because of the distance and he anticipated the traffic which was a good call because going back we saw the huge traffic and we were glad we weren't stuck in it! We visited Positano first then Sorento, then Pompeii. He really took care of us and was very knowledgeable of history. We had such a good time and lunch in Pompeii was great! We made it back to our cruise ship with still an hour to spend. Thank you Michele for taking care of us and making sure we were safe and had a good time!

Private driver and private tour in Pompeii - We LOVED our private tour guide in Pompeii, Danilo, was fantastic!! Very knowledgeable and showed us so many things!
Our private driver, Alfonzo, was fun and lots of energy. He told us all about Amalfi Coast and Sorrento Coast. He took us to a local restaurant with an amazing view of Sorrento Coast line.
We highly recommend both!

Fantastic trip to Amalfi coast and Pompeii! - Our driver Chiro was exceptional, his knowledge, his humor and his driving skills were second to none. He took us to all the places we wanted to go to, booked us a table at a restaurant in Pompeii, of course we asked him to join us. He made our day so much better and we highly recommend him.

Picturesque tour of the Amalfi Coast and Pompeii! - Naples was our first stop on our Mediterranean cruise and it was fabulous! Alfonso, our tour guide, is extremely talented. Not only was he a great tour guide, his driving skills were amazing, he is very funny, and has an AMAZING singing voice! Our family of 6 was laughing and having a great time throughout the whole tour. We were pleased with how much we saw throughout this tour, such as Sorrento, Positano, and the area around Pompeii. Positano was definitely the highlight, as it is such a picturesque town. It truly felt like we were in a postcard! Our tour guide, Alfonso did an amazing job with the timing of the various stops along the tour. Because we were in Naples on a Sunday, he anticipated lots of traffic towards the middle of the day at the Amalfi Coast. Therefore, he made sure that we went straight to Positano when he first picked us up, and on the way back towards Pompeii in the afternoon, we saw the traffic on the one way street going towards Positano/Sorrento. Overall, we would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who has only one day in Naples, as it was a great introduction to this beautiful area of Italy!

Pompeii Amalfi Positano private tour - Alfonso (our guide) was as much of the experience as the sites. Beautiful Amalfi coast Positano, Sorrento, and ending with a visit to Pompeii. Alfonso obviously has pride in his hometown and his home country and is an endless reservoir of information facts history legend. He kept us engaged. The entire tour was very thoughtful about making sure we Were able to see everything we wanted in the time allowed. He did more than show us the sites. He taught us, the culture, the history and more about pizza than we ever thought possible! He arranged for lunch at a quaint little pizzeria, where we were embraced like family To sample Naples cuisine. Cannot recommend this tour or Alfonso five stars plus From our family of six age 10 to 49.

Antonio (Tony) was the best guide! - Tony was an amazing guide. Naples was one of our stops on our cruise. I was a little nervous that we wouldn't have enough time to explore the coast, but Antonio (Tony) made it happen. He was very good with the communication - messaging us the night before. He came prepared with a booster seat for my son and he was waiting right outside the terminal when we arrived (we couldn't miss him!). We had a great drive down to Positano. He filled it with tons of interesting information of things as we passed by - he even taught our kids a little Italian. He made great photo stop recommendations and made a great stop for limoncello. The drive was smooth and comfortable and he waited for us during our little boat tour. We also drove through Sorrento and then to Pompeii. Tony made some reservations for us in advance at this small restaurant in Pompeii. They were already closed for the day, but he managed to pull some strings and we had the best pizza and lasagna of my life. We ended the day with a 1 hour self-guided tour through Pompeii and he got us back to our cruise at the perfect time. It was a great tour and we will definitely be back.

Italy....A beautiful place - There was a road issue resulting in an excessive delay getting to the Amalfi Coat, so our driver recommended we remove that part of the tour. We appreciated the honesty and attention.
However, we were advised that if we didn't go to the Amalfi Coast due to the road conditions, we would be refunded respectively for that part of the tour. That did not happen, and multiple attempts to contact the tour company were unsuccessful. All in all, loved our trip.

Great Excursion but Deceptive Ad - Our tour of Pompeii was amazing and so worth the time and money. Our guide, Carmine, was extremely knowledgeable, and you can see how much he loves Pompeii and sharing it with others. Our driving tour guide, Alfonso, was so kind and knowledgeable. Both guides were extremely patient and kind with our large group, including 2 small children. We were thrilled with Pompeii, both guides, and the lunch Alfonso arranged for us. My biggest complaint about this excursion is that the ad says you will get to tour Pompeii, Sorrento, and Positano, but we did not. The ad also makes it sound as though you will get to drive along the Amalfi Coast, but we didn’t. We spent 2 hours in Pompeii and then had lunch. We got to take a far away picture of the Amalfi Coast and spend maybe an hour in Sorrento. We were told we could not tour Positano, because everything would be closed. The whole reason we booked this tour was to see Pompeii, the Amalfi Coast, Sorrento, AND Positano. It was very disappointing that we didn’t get to see and spend a good amount of time at each location.
