To give you a general idea, here are some details about a particular tour. I typically advise my clients to begin the tour quite early. Starting at around 8am usually helps to avoid the morning rush traffic in Naples. In roughly an hour, we’ll arrive at Sorrento. Naturally, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the ancient town center. Following our visit to Sorrento, we’ll proceed along the stunning Amalfi coast. We can make several stops along the way for you to take beautiful photos, and of course, explore the town center (which is inaccessible to large buses) and grab lunch. After touring the coast, it’s time to visit the Ancient Pompei. The archaeological site is quite vast, so I suggest spending about two hours there. If you wish, I can organize a private tour with a professional local guide who will show you around the ruins, but you’re also free to explore on your own. When the tour of Pompei is over, I will drive you back to our starting point.
