• Chianti Road - Our expert driver will pick you up at your Cruise Ship and take you on a drive through the sweet hills of Tuscany. We will drive accross one of the most beatifull wine road in Tuscany and through the sweet Chianti hills, amidst olive groves, cypress trees and vineyards.

• Siena - First stop will be in Siena for a self guided visit of the town.
  Siena is a historic city on the region of Tuscany and is the capital of the province of Siena. This city is well known for its gorgeous architecture and beautiful main square, named “Piazza del Campo”. Furthermore Siena has a historic city centre that has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
  Additionally, Siena is also known for its legendary Palio: the horse race that takes place twice a year and draws hundreds of spectators.

• Podere La Marronaia- Le Colonne Biodynamic Winery & Farm - After Siena, we will move in a typical tuscan farm for a delicious lunch and Chianti wine tastings:
  This wonderful farm is located in a panoramic point on the Tuscan hills, promotes the Italian wine & food culture all over the world.
  A beautiful Italian experience to learn the best combinations beetween wine & food.

• San Gimignano - In the early afrernoon we will visit San Gimignano. (Self guided tour of abour 1 hour)
  San Gimignano is a small walled medieval hill town not far from Siena, known as the “Town of Fine Towers”. During the Middle Ages there were more than 70 towers in the city. Now it is a real open-air museum, where it seems to walk in the medieval period. The town also is known for saffron, the Golden Ham, and its white wine, Vernaccia di San Gimignano, produced from the ancient variety of Vernaccia grape which is grown on the sandstone hillsides of the area. In the main square don’t forget to taste the best ‘ice cream in the world’ (Gelateria Dondoli), and in the streets of the village you can admire the extraordinary work of expert craftsmen.
  At the end of the visit we’ll come back to Livorno port (5.30PM).

Embark on a full-day journey across the picturesque Chianti hills, famous for its landscapes lined with cypress trees, medieval towns perched atop hills, and some of the finest wines of the Region.
The Plan:
• Meet your chauffeur at your Cruise Ship at roughly 8.00 am
• En route to Siena, you’ll get to appreciate the scenic beauty of the hills. Siena is renowned for its stunning architecture and its main square, Piazza del Campo. Its historic city center is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Siena is equally famed for its biannual horse-racing event, the Palio, which attracts crowds of spectators.
• Post Siena, we’ll make our way to an authentic Tuscan farm, where we’ll learn the intricacies of wine-making and relish a lunch comprising homemade pasta, along with a tasting of 5 different wines.
• Post lunch, the tour progresses to San Gimignano, where we’ll explore its historic center and the imposing Towers. Also on the menu is a taste of the ‘world’s best gelato’ at Gelateria Dondoli.
• We plan to return around 5.30 pm.
