Relive the scenes from Inspector Montablano series - There were four of us, all fans so we had immediate common ground. We were ready for cold drinks by the time we arrived in Ragusa; for me pommegranite and orange mixed, for David, expresso, John and Kate chose local lemonades. Refreshed were we on our way again. Our trip met all expectations and more. We covered a lot of geography and visited several locations and towns. We took photos at each scene; Montalbano's interview rooms, the Don's abode in Castello Donnafugata, lunch in Punte Secca and seeing Montalbanos famous balcony! And finally the piazza and Montalbano's office. Enrico our guide there was terrific and let us into secrets of the cast and production. This tour was a lot of fun. Guilianna was a great guide and driver, bringing us safely home through a dramatic rain storm.

Great day trip if you're a fan of Montalbano - We booked this 1 day tour only 15 hours and were delighted with the efficient organisation. We were picked up at 8:45 from our hotel in Syracuse by our excellent guide/driver Juliana. We visited 4 different places all made famous by the TV Series of Inspector Montalbano. Each place was unique and we could recall the times we had seen certain locations and buildings. Juliana was very knowledgeable about Sicily and Inspector Montalbano, and had lots of stories to tell us! It was an exceptionally hot day but she took care to keep us cool in the A/C vehicle & to make sure we had plenty of water to drink. As the TV production company are filming 3 more episodes (hurrah)we were very fortunate to see the full set at the Police Headquarters in Scicli. We visited Montalbano's house on the beach and some beautiful Baroque places and a 19th Century palace. Be prepared for quite a long day but unmissable!

Did not know where the police office building was - The guide spent a lot of time with us, was patient, and took us to all the important Montalbano sites. However, we were a bit disappointed about his English. Often we had trouble communicating with him. Also, a big disappointment was that he didn't know the location of the main building used as the police office. We had to ask people on the street and walk there on our own. Also, he said it would be closed. Instead, it was open (and we had to pay a fee). When we finally toured the office, it was the highlight of the trip since so much of the action takes place there.
