Recommended Vatican City Tour - The tour was accurate of what the event advertised. You start at the meeting point which was a small café were they give you a free breakfast, a juice box and a crossaint. Than the tour guide takes you through the security which is mandatory. They take you into St. Peter's Basilica where you get the choice whether to stay with the group or guide yourself through the Basilica. They recommend you going up to the Dome & the cupola if you do go up the stairs 2,204 you can take the elevator or the stairs. Otherwise, it's an amazing experience and I 100% recommend this experience. I would definitely return!

Found the place to... - Found the place to access ticket with help from taxi driver. Young friendley stafff led us in right direction with a lengthy queue awaiting entry. Use the lift to acces the roof level. Then climbed up the dome. You need to be quite fit. Photos from the top are amazing. Once in a lifetime thing to do. Pleased i did it.

St Peters Basillica - St. Peter’s was great and so was the tour company. My only complaint was that the self guided tour required you to stay with the large group getting the audio guides, getting thru security and acquiring tickets. So, it added about 30 minutes to the process, so just plan accordingly. If you are prepared for that, all is good.

You get a sticker to enter and you’re on your own. - The tour was interesting to say the least. The “digital” part wasn't working so the guide had everyone redownload the app right in front. Of course with data service being what it is in IT, the download was going to take 3 hours. So once they put a sticker on you and get you to the line for the dome extrance, you're all done. They don't deal with you anymore after that. No one talks to you, tells you where to go or anything. You're on your own. Pro tip, you can get there super early and head up to the dome for like $15 (using the elevator) and no guide really needed since it barely worked anyways. Then the basilica entrance is free.

You can visit the dome for 8€... - Tickets to visit the dome can be purchased on site for €8 (€10 with the elevator) this option only serves to obtain an audio guide via a QR code and access to the basilica is obviously free.

A lot of people from... - A lot of people from different languages were placed together at the same time only in one group. And, having only one guide for this big assemble complicated the communication. This large group was kept together in the extremely long waiting line (so, also, nothing about "skip-the-line") Finally, after passing security, the guide apparently was in a hurry walking very fast, and for that reason, several people from the middle to the end of the group were left behind.

This is not a skip-the-line or early-entry ticket - Ignore any reviews that refer to this as Skip-the-line or early entry. It's not. In fact, it will take you longer to get in using this service rather than just going yourself the day of because you have to wait for the tour, which offers no additional service other than the Audioguide. They explain nothing along the way except to suggest you can buy breakfast at the cafe that "just so happens" to be the group meeting point.

Don’t bother. Just pay on the day and you save yourself lots. - No advantage to booking on this site. Had to queue for two hours. More expensive than had we just turned up on the day. Most unhelpful guide and audio guide was downloading an app that we could get to work. We felt throughly ripped off

Buy your tickets at the desk! Not here! - Would not recommend! We bought tickets online, we get to the meering point then to go to St. Peters to wait with 60 other people. Then we see the guide buy the tickets! Why pay €29 for a ticket that I can by myself for €10? And have the same experience with just my loved ones and not 58 unkown people! This is a scam!

Do not use GetYourGuide! - The Church was amazin, but not thanks to Get Yourguide. Due to parking issues we arrived d5 minutes late. The guide wasa gone and there was no way to get in touch to find out what to do next. The phone nummer provided was not answered and a refund was refused. Do not recommend at all!
