We’ve prepared a route for you to explore the region of Valtellina, a celebrated wine production area for more than two millennia. Upon realizing that increased elevations improve the quality and alcohol concentration of the wine, historical farmers painstakingly developed vineyards on the precipitous terraces of Valtellina’s dauntingly steep slopes. The region primarily specializes in red wine that’re made from Chiavennasca - a local term for the Nebbiolo grape. Exhibiting less tannin and power, Valtellina’s Nebbiolos are flavorful and refined. Make sure to indulge in a wine tasting session during the day! ( Please note, the lunch stop is included, however, the cost of the meal is borne by you )
