Quick experience but great! - We arrived 25 mi uses last our entry time (transportation issues) and they let us right in. This was great because it was 97 degrees and we didn't have to wait in the long line in the sun. On our own we set our own pace and were in and out in less than 2 hours as we were on a time crunch. What an amazing museum!

You need these slip the line tickets. - These tickets are invaluable as the ticket line was over a mile long and it was 38 degrees and far too hot to wait in the queue. The tour operator sent them to me the evening before so we were ready to go at our allotted time. Its busy and my only criticism which is nothing against the tour operator, is the amount of groups that block the walkways which makes it difficult to move on .

Worth it! - So easy to skip the line, and it was nice avoiding the heat, as the regular line gets very long! I highly recommend paying extra to get easier access.

Pretty good price for fast pass! - We booked this fast pass entrance ticket to the Vatican since most of the other options that had tours included were sold out. Make sure you understand this is NOT for a tour! It actually worked out well for us since we really enjoyed going at our own pace with the audio guide that the museum provides! Had we thought ahead more, we probably could’ve gotten an entrance ticket for cheaper, but the line with this ticket moved extremely quickly as it was mainly group tours in the line, and we were in the museum within five minutes of it opening! I would really recommend the 8 AM ticket time as the museum opens at eight and the queue seems long at first before it opens, but the line goes extremely quickly as soon as the doors are open. We also loved having access to Rafael Rooms, as many of the guided tours skipped over this, and we saw lots of people disappointed that they could not enter with their group tour. Do not miss out on the Vatican museums and Sistine Chapel!

Trip is good but the ticket bought Viator app is 4 times the actual cost - The experience is great and tour operator deliver the ticket nicely. But the cost of the ticket is 4 times the actual price that is insane. Felt cheated after went to the attractions and realize that easy to get online tickets from government sites.

Get this and read the directions carefully - July is one of the busiest times of the year in Rome. The Vatican is no exception. These tickets gave us the opportunity to walk past everyone else who didn’t have a ticket - and the line had to have been at least a quarter mile long. A couple of things to know, the tickets may come to you through WhatsApp. I never received mine in my email, but I did receive instructions that explained I would be getting them through my email or through WhatsApp. I did not catch that last part in my email and was figuring that out the day of in the blazing hot sun when I could barely read my screen on my phone. So, read the directions carefully and have your stuff ready to go. Also, be sure you take your passport with you when you go to the Vatican Museum. The other thing that I did not realize is the sheer size of the Vatican museum. You will see everything from ancient Egyptian mummies and sarcophagi to rooms painted by Rafael and a hall of tapestries and another hall of maps. It took us approximately two hours to move through it and you have to move through in a certain order. We moved through at a pretty quick pace. The Sistine Chapel is one of the last things you see. It is very crowded. I would totally skip any guided tours of this place and get an audio guide for eight euro at the counter inside.

Poor basilica coverage - The tour thru the Sistine chapel was great as well as the Vatican museum. I was disappointed that we were just dropped off at the door to St Peter’s basilica as this was the part that I really wanted to have a tour guides knowledge and guidance for.

Vatican Museum - visiting the sistine chapel. Otherwise not happy with Viator Rome. As a tourist first time traveler to Rome I'm relying with Viator Assistance. Paid $$$ but they were no where around. We have to ask help from other people to get Vatican. Personaly ask the VAtican guard or to help us out. They just told us to in line???? We bought a skipo the line!!!! Viator is no where to guide us....

Tickets worked fine. Vatican is entirely overcrowded. - This is the worst experience I’ve had at the Vatican. Noisy. Overcrowded. Much of the museum and then Sistine were impossible to see simply because of the crowds. The tours have entirely taken over. The actual tickets worked well. Far more expensive than buying directly from the Vatican, but worth it not to stand in the long queue at the museum entrance.
