- Lemurs’ Park - Our guide with a driver will meet you from your hotel/airport.\nDrive you directly to Lemur’s Park, where you will spot a variety of lemurs living in half-freedom. The are at least 5 species of lemur including the Ring Tails ‘catta’ lemur family. \n\n- Royal Hill of Ambohimanga - Tana, or the city of a thousand warriors is well known as “Analamanga” which means the blue forest where the “Merina” ethnic group is dominated. As Tana is the capital of Madagascar, you can find all the colors of the 3 million Malagasy populations. Our visit usually involves the lower town, Ambohimanga or the blue hill that stands on top are considered the most significant symbol of the cultural identity of the Merina people and the most important and best-preserved monument of the precolonial Merina Kingdom. The site, one of the twelve sacred hills of Imerina, is associated with strong feelings of national identity and has maintained its spiritual and sacred character both in ritual practice and the popular imagination for at least four hundred years.\n\nHere you will have lunch at a local restaurant by spotting the local show (dance, singing) and doing a cooking session to practice local dishes. \n- Manjakamiadana - Here you will learn the royal story of the Imerina tribes continuously to the colonization story. Our guide will let you spot the great panoramic view of the capital and provide you with each detail of the city’s history. \nYou will walk down to the center of the capital after the Rova Manjakamiadana visit. \n- Analakely Market - Here you will see the local daily life of Malagasy people in the center. You can taste local typical foods and get some souvenirs before we will end the tour. \n- Parc Tsarasaotra - Here, you will spot variety of birds that endemic in Madagascar. The visit duration, will take us about 2hrs than head out to Croc farm.

Additional Information
We will start the tour with a visit to Lemur’s Park on the west. Then
return to the center to take the road to the Ambohimanga Palace to discover the royal history of Merina tribs. We will have lunch before getting to the Queen’s Palace and its panoramic view of the city of Antananarivo. The program will end after visiting Tsarasaotra parc where you will admire endemic species of birds.

Friendly Tour Guides Madagascar are the best! - Working with Friendly Tour guides madagascar in November 2023 was a specials treat. They were affordable and even put together a unique tour of the famous PakoPako (taco) being made from scratch and them deliciously consumed. I even got to participate in rolling. Both John and Tony were very knowledgable, friendly and took great care of me while I traveled their country. I highly recommend using Friendly Tour Guides Madagascar on your next trip
