The journey will wrap up at xihuacan - ‘la chole’, a Mesoamerican archaeological site nestled in the Costa Grande de Guerrero, in close proximity to Zihuatanejo. This site bears the marks of a 3000-year-long civilization consisting of three cultures that interacted with other Mesoamerican societies such as the Olmec and Teotihuaca. A visit to ‘La chole’ also promises a scrumptious meal following an enlightening tour filled with archaeological gems.
