Super Cool Time! Always Recommend to Friends - Great tour! Fabian was an awesome person to hang out with for an afternoon! Only about 30mins south of the airport (with stop at a coffee shop on the way). Learned a lot about the ancestors of the area and saw pyramids that were built thousands of years ago. Toured a museum with artifacts found in the area as well- super cool! On the way back we stopped at a market and had some authentic Mexican cuisine. Absolutely amazing time would recommend to all of my friends visiting the area. Will also be booking additional tours in the future!

A Family Affair - This is an experience you should not miss. We booked the tour online easily. I was contacted by the owner immediately to confirm our reservation. We were staying at a condo on Ixtapa near the pickup hotels. We thought we would have to take a taxi or bus to the hotel. When I mentioned this to the owner (Ulisis) he let us know they could pick us up at the condo. They day of our tour, we met or guide Fabian and driver Gabriel. We then travelled to Zihuatanejo to a private villa to pick up a three generation family that would be joining us. Gabriel navigated the narrow streets with great skill. After boarding our tour buddies, Fabian stopped at a local store in case we wanted some snacks. Very thoughtful. He then took us to a fantastic coffee shop shop that roasted their own beans over an open fire roaster! Never had a better coffee. Then off to a museum dedicated to an ancient civilization that preceded the Mayans and Aztecs. Our local guide revealed the many ancient rituals and games this tribe engaged in. He even pointed out a ring he personally excavated and gave to the museum. Then we proceeded to visit a pyramid nearby. We learned of the many ancient rituals and games that were played there. The winners were rewarded with an incredible honor to say the least. We then got to climb the stairs to the top of the pyramid to a spectacular view. I took my 70 year old legs up that pyramid! It was amazing. As an older person with some mobility issues, I felt very supported by Fabian and Gabriel. They were so kind and thoughtful to make sure I was safe and felt included. Even making sure I had help getting in and out of the van. After our descent, Fabian took Us to a local restaurant in the village for an authentic Mexican meal. We sat at a large table and enjoyed the rich and delicious food. We had several baskets of the freshest tortillas I’ve ever had. Whenever we would run out, a woman would come by and toss fresh hot tortillas right from the wood burning stove. After filling our hearts and bellies, we started our trip back. I want to give a special kudos to Gabriel our driver. The streets of Zihuatanejo are very narrow and crowded. Gabriel navigated those streets like a pro! Every time we would see a van or car close to us, he would say “ Don’t worry, everything will be okey dokey. Gotta love this guy. Along the way Fabian and Gabriel made sure we had plenty to drink, and we appreciated that. I have to say what an enriching experience, learning and experiencing the local culture. We made memories and new friends along the way. Muchas gracias a Fabian y Gabriel…

Don't miss this! - This tour was fantastic. Fabian, our guide, was very personable and friendly. He was very knowledgeable about the area and we learned so much! We could not have asked for a better site guide in Adan. He knew so much and has been finding artifacts there since childhood. What an amazing day! Highly recommend it if you are the least bit interested in the history and culture of the area.

A great experience, highly recommend! - Fabian and Uber did a great job of making us feel comfortable and safe for the entire time. We learned so much about the area on the way there and back, and we stopped at a barista for a freshly ground cup of coffee. The archaeological site was much more interesting than expected, with a great story of the families who live there and have unearthed the treasures on display. They took us to a fondita for a super tasty lunch that was included in the tour. I would highly recommend these gentlemen for such a comfortable and entertaining excursion. There was no language barrier, and I got to practice my Spanish with plenty of translation help. All in all a great experience.

Good day of learning - We enjoyed this trip and the guide was very detailed. He provided a story about the people and the importance of the Xihuacan archaeological site. We walked through the museum and then stopped at the ancient ball court and temple. Lunch was at a place on the return trip and was okay. We also stopped at a family owned tile company and watched how a roof tile is made - very interesting. I appreciated the guide and his passion for history

Super helpful and friendly Tour - Ulises was a very friendly and helpful guide. He provided a personal tour for me and my wife to view the ruins and took care of everything. He picked us up at our hotel and provided cold drinks for the ride. He had lots of insight into the region because it is his home and was a pleasure to talk to. He was also very responsive to communication and we wound up booking a snorkeling experience during our tour with him for the following day which was equally excellent. He also provided lots of local recommendations that were super helpful. We enjoyed delicious meals and got great souvenirs thanks to his guidance.

Trip to the Petatlan Ruins - I did the Petatlan ruins tour. Our tour guide was very friendly and the destination was beautiful and impressive. We went to a museum first to learn about the history of the area and ruins. The museum representative only spoke Spanish and our tour guide spoke broken English so it was a little challenging to understand all the information we were given. It helped that I understand some Spanish. The best part of the tour was actually seeing the ruins which included the game court and the pyramid and temples. We also went to the little town nearby and visited the old adobe church with the stone carving of the King, Chole in front. After the tour we stopped at a nice open air restaurant for delicious food. Overall, it was a very nice experience and I'm very glad I did it and would recommend it.
