Book with Luis for a great experience! - We visited Ixtapa for the first time in late November with our 7 year old son, and Luis made our trip so easy! He provided our airport transfer, a modified full day tour of the cities that included the archeological site, and a fishing trip.
The city tour was wonderful. Luis listened to what we liked and then made it happen. It included beautiful views, markets, arecholigical museum and site, ponderosa, coffee, iguanas, a beach, delicious lunch, and more.
We caught 5 tunas on our fishing trip! The boat was smaller and the perfect size for our small group, it was just us on the boat! Tons of shade and comfortable seating. Life jackets were available. We brought our own snacks and water. Afterwards, we went to a restaurant at Las Gatas beach where they cooked our fish for lunch (extra cost, but worth it). Food was delicious, beach was great for swimming and snorkeling. Plan for the beach in advance if you have kids or want to snorkel. We didn't and could have easily stayed for an extra hour or two.
We highly recommend Luis for any transporations and tours. He was very knowledgable, kind and easy to work with.

Great guide for overview of area - Our guide Pablo was fantastic. His English was perfect, and he took us to all the significant sites in Zihuatanejo and Ixtapa. He was knowledgeable and pleasant and professional. I highly recommend him.

Good introduction to the area. - Juan & our driver were right on time for the morning pick-up at our hotel. They were both very friendly & welcoming. Juan is a native of this area and shared many interesting side bits of information in addition to the actual tour. We enjoyed our tour with Juan!

Authentic Mexico. An amazing 4- day trip with Lois. - An amazing Dia de Los Muertos 4 - day trip to Michocan with Lois.
It is more then city tour review , but I wanted to share this option . If you are looking for few days of authentic Mexico experiences, Lou's will customize it. Our main cities were Uroapan, Morelia and Pasquaro, with many other fantastic stops on the way. Every town was decorated for Dia de los Muertos celebration, a surreal experiemce. The parade was in Morelia on November 1.
We left San Miguel for next time ( when Monarch butterfly arrive which is a trip of its own ), but if you add that magic town , it would be truly the Best of Michocan trip. Here are some pictures:

Highly recommend Luis De Ma Maza - Luis was very knowledgeable and provided our group of 6 with an excellent private tour, catered to our wants and needs. He also spoke excellent English. He is extremely passionate about the areas. Would highly recommend.

Great value to orient oneself to new area! - Our guide Francisco or "Pancho", "Cisco", "Frank" (Lol) was very friendly and spoke English quite well. Being born in this State he is knowledgeable and was very friendly. He knew many folks at the stops we made and his Peeps seemed to like him... So, we drove around Zihua in his personal car that was very small for me (6'2"), then we headed to Ixtapa to view/walk on the beaches over there. Also stopped to see cocodrillos, bird watch and walk around the natural area. After Ixtapa we headed back to Zihua for lunch, where he took us to a great place for carnitas! We bought his small lunch and the proprietor at Julio's Asaderos stopped at our table and discussed their method of carnitas (they were AWESOME). Great way to see the area we are new to in order to get our bearings and pin down areas/eateries we want to focus on later...
