SPECTACULAR! - If I could make it 10 stars I would! Great communication, great organization, and our guide Memo Was spectacular And a wealth of knowledge!! Had had a great personality, and was a lot of fun! Took us to a local restaurant for lunch, where we experienced delicious Turkish food, along with the wonderful guided tour through Ephesus and the house of the Virgin Mary! Sheriff, Our driver was always waiting for us, made sure the van was put in the shade when it all possible, and the van was super perfect as well! Would highly recommend requesting Memo & Sheriff !

Awesome place - The tour starts out with a road trip and stop at a rug factory for some excellent Turkish coffee, pastry, and a pitch to buy a rug or two. Next, we went to the House of Mary and then the ruins at Ephesus. The ruins at Ephesus are awesome and our guide extremely informative and personable. Highly recommend, even if you're not in the market for a rug.

Highlights of Ephesus, Private Tour for Cruise Guests - We arrived at our cruise port where we met our private tour guide, Filiz. The process was seamless. The three of us headed out on our tour with Filiz who took care of everything from start to finish. Filiz was extremally knowledgably, friendly, and a very positive person. Perfect Turkey Experience - This was our first time with private cruise tours. It was easy to book, much more affordable and the smaller sized group was just amazing. We had guide Calgar who was excellent. His area knowledge, professionalism and entertaining personality were perfect. He fit in great with our group and was like a fun college professor. Ekin is the BEST Tour Guide for Ephesus and nearby area - The best Tour of our entire cruise was this tour of Turkey (i.e., Ephesus and surrounding area). The sites are a reason to take tour, our tour guide Ekin made the tour memorable... for our family of four. Ekin is simply the best... hand down the best! He is a very friendly, whitty and knowledgeable. Master at his craft. Love the handlebar mustache too! We saw and learned of some great sites, cultural traditions and history of Turkey and ate some very delicious traditional Turkish food with Ekin. This tour company was also great, Ekin made it this excursion the highlight of our cruise.

Great experience in Ephesus and nearby area - We had a fantastic time with Banu. She was extremely knowledgeable and fun to be with. Banu provided just the right amount of information and was flexible on what we could experience in this region in the time allotted. The experience was suburb.

Simply, the VERY BEST! - Erkan was the best tour guide we had; we took and paid for 14 private tours during this trip. She is the very BEST. Knows her stuff, explains it easily, took us where ever we wanted to go. Great van with her turn around seat so she is talking to you directly, easy to follow and interact with. Told us what book to buy on Ephesus, it is great. By far one of our better days during our 21 days all over. She is a total DELIGHT!

Wonderfully Memorable tour experience in Ephesus - We had such a great experience with our guide Isik! She was very nice, entertaining, knowledgeable and professional and her English was perfect! She kept us moving but gave us plenty of time to ask questions, take pictures & time to roam around on our own. We were so glad we booked our private tour that was catered to just our group of 6 rather than a large bus tour. We really appreciated getting a break from the heat while traveling between locations in the air conditioned Mercedes van that was clean & comfortable.(water provided too). We enjoyed the visit to “the Virgin Mary’s House” early in the morning. Isik ushered us in before the bus loads of tourists arrived making it easier to move thru the location & time to use the restroom before we headed to the ruins of Ephesus. It was quite hot that day so we were glad we brought our own cooling cloths, water and umbrellas for sun protection. We loved learning all Isik had to share with us and appreciated her checking in regarding the pace of the tour. The Celsius Library was amazing, as was the Great Theatre where Apostle Paul had preached to the Ephesians. After the tour we were treated to a wonderful & delicious lunch at a local Turkish restaurant. We really enjoyed learning about & tasting some of the Turkish cuisine. We then walked across the garden to a carpet factory. Although it was interesting none of us were interested in purchasing anything. We had fun jesting with the salesmen about prices and they definitely wanted to make a sale but really weren’t too pushy. At the end of our tour, Isik helped us organize a meeting with a local friend- even using her own phone to make a call to insure/arrange the meeting spot. This tour couldn’t have been any better and we Highly recommend this (6hr) day tour to anyone visiting Ephesus!
