Rainy day but still had a great time! - Our day was mostly rainy, but we still enjoyed the walk to the temple. Beautiful scenery. Guide shared several local stories. The lunch was an unexpected treat - more than 30 dishes with seasonal vegetables. Hot springs with open air view were serene, relaxing, very clean.

Beautiful mountain scenery and ryokan/onsen experience - Friendly and knowledgeable guide, learnt a lot about the history and importance of the mountain. Beautiful scenery with running stream and waterfalls throughout. Relaxing afternoon spent in private room at ryokan. Generous and delicious lunch and got to experience onsen bath with view out over mountain stream. Highly recommend, only a short trip from Osaka.
