Initially, a narrow entrance opens into a large chamber adorned with magnificent stalactites and stalagmites. This cenote is situated along the Dos Ojos Park road and is part of the Dos Ojos section within the Dos Ojos—Nohoch—Sac Actun cave system.
Taak Be Luum is another enclosed cenote located further from Dos Ojos Road. It belongs to the Nohoch historical section of the Dos Ojos—Nohoch—Sac Actun cave system and is positioned upstream from the Dreamgate cenote.
The Sistema Sac Actun-Nohoch-Dos Ojos is currently the world’s second-largest underwater cave system, featuring 376.7 km (234 miles) of underwater passages and reaching a maximum depth of 119.18 meters (391 feet) in the El Pit cenote area.
