Relaxing beach - The boat ride there was really bumpy felt like a roller coaster needed a massage after the boat ride

Relaxing time - Relaxing time at this island away from the busy town of Jaco. Bumpy boat ride with beautiful views in both sides. Once in the island you can choose what to do. We just relaxed and played some soccer and American football with the local kids. Lunch needs improvement. I recommend to bring extra snacks. They sale cocktails and other drinks. Fun times for sure.

Best day trip - The best trip! We saw pilot whales on our boat ride there and had such a beautiful day swimming, taking walks, eating a fantastic lunch, snorkeling and taking a banana boat ride (like tubing). Margaritas and rum punch all day was a bonus. Bring sandals for the day and tennis shoes for hiking if you plan to do so.

Fun day - We had a fun day travelling too and from the island on a speed boat with music playing and the crew singing. Our guide Joseph was vibrant. The island itself was beautiful and we had a good chance to relax, snorkel, swim and even take a short walk with a good view.

Isla Tortuga - We have done a lot of activities this trip and this was one of our least favorite. The beach itself was beautiful but be prepared to be charged for everything. We had to pay $1 just to use the restroom. They encouraged everyone to just pee in the water where everyone is swimming. They also did not tell us to bring an extra change of clothing for the transportation back and made us buy $40 souvenir shorts at the gift shop or they would not allow us to ride back as they stated we were wet which left us with no choice.

Overpriced Tourist Trap - It was a 2 hour drive on the shuttle and another 45-minute boat ride to get to the island. Tour guide was nice, but didn't tell us about anything that was supposedly included, like water, soda, tea, or fruit. She only told us to come to the tent at noon for lunch. The lunch was breaded chicken or fish, rice, and sweet tea. The beach was ok, but it was an overpriced day, to say the least. You had to rent a chair for $10 unless you wanted to lay in the sand. Tickets were $460 for a family of 4 plus another $150 for water and other drinks. They had wi-fi, but that was an additional charge as well. They also charged to use the toilet. 6 am pick up and got back around 5pm. Such a long and expensive day just to go to the beach. We should have just stayed at our beachfront condo.

Horrible communication - We received zero communication from Viator on what to expect. The morning of we received communication from the third party via WhatsApp which my notifications were not turned on. There should have been some type of communication from Viator that we would be contacted by a third party. I also sent an email to Viator the day before our excursion and no reply.
