Professional instruction from helpful staff - I came to Jaco Beach mostly to photograph. When I saw this experience listed on the Airbnb App I was excited to try it out. I have used a Morey Bodyboard since 2002, but this was my first time ACTUALLY surfing. The instructor seemed very knowledgeable and helpful. Overall, the school was very professional in helping someone like me get started.

LIFE CHANGING EXPERIENCE - Miguel was my instructor for my surf lesson. First time surfing ever with very little snowboard experience. I had an absolute blast! The water at beach they had us in the was perfect. Not rough at all. I did great! Stood and rode the first wave with assistance and eventually got to do it on my own!! Will definitely return for lesson/rentals such a great time that I will definitely be pursuing surfing anywhere i can to get better for when I return! A very special Thank you to Nadine as well for providing the pics/vids of the day!! Something to always remember my first surf at Costa Rica! Pura vida!

Best surf experience I could ask for - If you’re looking for world class surf lessons or just want to get out there with a rockstar surfer who reads the ocean like no other, Hugo is your man! Had me surfing on my own after just one lesson! Nadine took the most incredible photos and drone videos! I definitely recommend asking her to film you while you’re there! She also has the nicest and friendliest beach cat, Izzy!

Do yourself a favor and take these lessons! - Taking surfing lessons has always been on my bucket list and I was finally able to check that off. Our instructor was Miguel, and he was fantastic! He's a passionate and skilled instructor who makes learning to surf fun and easy. Whether you're a beginner or looking to improve, Miguel tailors his lessons to your needs. The beautiful beaches of Jacó provide the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable experience. They also had a professional photographer, Nadine, that expertly documented the experience. Highly recommended!

Miguel was a great instructor. I was able to catch many sets and build my skills. - Go early to find the house with gated parking. It’s a 1 lane street. Also rash guard was provided with outdoor shower to wash off the salt water and sand.

Surfing lesson - This was 100% my favorite thing about the trip! It was my first time surfing and I fell in love with it. It was seriously a blast. The instructors were great and fun, very personable! Also, the pictures and videos are worth every penny to capture the great time we had!

Fantastic Experience ! - It could not have been better ! We were there as beginners, we got the perfect support with very knowledgeable and patient trainers, we all managed to get up and enjoy the ride, regardless of experience level and age ! The best you can expect - would definetively go there again if we retutn to Jaco !

Great Surf Lessons!!! - WOW!!! These guys were awesome!! Just a great experience! Loved every minute of it! 5 surfers and they got every one of us up on a board!! John, Hugo, Victor and Amber were the best teachers and so fun to work with! We really enjoyed the experience! Thanks again guys!!

An ultimate experience on the water - From the moment I reached out to schedule my surfing experience I knew I made the right decision. Alain responded to my inquiry quickly and I booked my surfing lesson feeling confident about my decision. On point, my wife and I were picked up from our hotel and dropped off at our surfing site just minutes away. Immediately we were introduced to the staff and my instructor, Pollo. This dude is awesome! I had never surfed but I am very comfortable in open water. Pollo patiently demonstrated and had me perform the necessary skills before we entered the water. Once I was confident, we hit the waves. My first run was short lived because of my poor execution, but on my second attempt I rode the wave back to shore. If you want to learn how to surf and have fun doing it, go to Surf Factory! For two hours I had the time of my life. My wife stood on shore taking pics, Pollo taught a 60 year black man to surf and folks walking along the beach cheered as I cruised to shore time after time. Nadine, the photographer, provided shots and video of one of the greatest experiences of my life. Thanks to Pollo and all the staff at Surf Factory.
