Authentic Korean cooking experience - Thank you Jennifer for hosting a fun interactive and informative cooking class for our family. Our kids aged 10 and 12 had a great time cooking their favorite 4 Korean meals. Jennifer had everything nicely set up including drinks and snacks. My 10 year old prefers non-spicy foods and Jennifer was accommodating and altered the recipe so he can enjoy the food too. We look forward to trying these recipes at home. Come with empty stomachs because you will leave full. To go bags were provided so we enjoyed our homemade gimbaps by the Han River. Highly recommend Jennifer’s Hansik cooking class if you are visiting Korea!

Great cooking demonstrations to help novices learn to prepare some popular Korean dishes. - My wife and I both signed up, and it was our first cooking class experience. We both enjoyed it immensely. Jennifer and her assistant walked us through four dishes after serving us some preliminary snacks. All of the ingredients were already measured and packaged for us. All we had to do was watch, chop, cook, and roll. She showed us how to make kimbap, tteokboki, pajeon, and budae jigae (army base stew). I highly recommend Hanson Korean cooking class. Just be sure to eat a light breakfast or lunch, because you eat what you make and it’s a lot of food. We took home half of our kimbap in doggie bags and we were still so stuffed when we left that we walked around the neighborhood for an hour before heading back to the hotel.

Love love love!!!! - This was my first cooking class, so now the standards are set very very high! It was a lovely cooking set up and fun environment for my mom and I to experience! All of the steps in the class seemed so simple and we were so impressed at how good our own food came out at the end! We cannot wait to go back! 🥰🥰🥰

Great food and cooking - Very good cooking class and excellent food. I have been to many different cooking classes but I found this super unique and nice. Each of us made our own food so we got to learn to make each dish from scratch. Would recommend!!

Recommended local cooking class - Jenny was a lovely host and chef who gave clear directions (no small feat as part of our group was 3 children under 10 and half had a different menu; she juggled it all). The 4 dishes were all delicious and I look forward to hunting down the ingredients and making them at home for friends. The only down side is that we all made way too much food!

Best Cooking Class! - Jennifer was fun, engaging, and an excellent cook and teacher! She taught us proper pronunciation of each of the dishes and guided us through her recipes. We had the best time learning to make hansik (한식) we will be recreating at home! This was the best cooking class we have been to! The gimbap (김밥), tteokbokki (떡볶이), haemul pajeon (해물파전), and budae jjigae (부대찌개) were delicious! Jennifer’s space is a perfect set up where we had plenty of room to prepare ingredients and cook the dishes. There was lots of taste testing throughout 😊. We could not have asked for a better experience and plan to go back once she updates her menu in a couple months!
