Jaipur (arrival)

Pink City - Arrive by flight at Jaipur. Welcome to the Pink City - Jaipur, renowned for its wide avenues, grand forts, splendid palaces, beautiful temples, and regal culture. Check-in at the hotel and unwind. In the evening, embark on a guided walking tour of the Pink City market. Jaipur is also known as a shopper’s paradise. The vibrant markets of Jaipur offer a delightful break to shop during your tour. Marvel at the sparkle of shops selling handcrafted bangles and other decorative items. As you stroll through the markets, you will experience the lively culture of this region. Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Jaipur.

Jaipur (sightseeing)

Amber Palace - After breakfast, set out to explore Jaipur’s top attractions. Visit Hawa Mahal, a high screen wall built so the women of the royal household could observe street festivals while remaining unseen from the outside. Then visit Jantar Mantar (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), a collection of nineteen architectural astronomical instruments, built by the Rajput king Sawai Jai Singh, and completed in 1738 CE. Afterwards, visit the City Palace. Built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh between 1729 and 1732, the vast palace complex occupies one-seventh of the walled city. In the afternoon, stop by Jal Mahal, a palace in the middle of the Man Sagar Lake. Then visit the grand Amer Fort (or Amber Fort), the principal tourist attraction in Jaipur, with the current structure built during the late 16th century by Rajput Kings. In the evening, visit Nahargarh Fort, which offers a stunning bird’s eye view of the entire Jaipur city. Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Jaipur.

Jaipur - Jodhpur

Jodhpur - After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Jodhpur, the second largest city of Rajasthan. It is a reminder of a bygone era and is also called the “Blue City” as it appears completely blue from an aerial view due to its vividly painted blue walls and houses. Its mighty Mehrangarh fort overlooking the city is an architectural masterpiece and one of the largest forts in Rajasthan. Jaswant Tada and Umaid Bhawan Palace are also among the top attractions in Jodhpur. Due to its proximity to the Thar Desert, it is also known as the “Gateway to Thar”. Reach Jodhpur by evening. Check-in at the hotel on arrival and relax. Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Jodhpur.

Jodhpur (sightseeing)

Mehrangarh Fort - After breakfast, set out to explore Jodhpur. Visit the majestic Mehrangarh Fort, regally set on a sandstone hill built by Rao Jodha in 1459. Rising perpendicular and impregnable from a rocky hill that stands 120m above Jodhpur’s skyline. Afterwards, visit Jaswant Thada – the milky-white marble memorial to Maharaja Jaswant Singh II, sitting above a small lake 1 km northeast of Mehrangarh, is an array of whimsical domes. It serves as the cremation ground for the royal family of Marwar. The cenotaph is built out of intricately carved sheets of marble. In the afternoon, visit the lavish Umaid Bhawan Palace, a marvel built by Maharaja Umaid Singh of the Rathore Dynasty. It was the last royal palace built before the Independence of India. Its foundations were laid in 1929 and completed in 1943. Today it is part palace, part hotel, and part museum. In the evening, visit the local market. Later return to the hotel. Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Jodhpur.

Jodhpur – Udaipur

Ranakpur Jain Temple - After breakfast, check out from the hotel and head towards Udaipur - the “City of Lakes”. A fusion of nature, Rajasthani culture & architecture, the picturesque view of the city tells the story of its past glory. Often referred to as the ‘Venice of the East’, Udaipur is located around azure water lakes and is surrounded by the lush green hills of the Aravalli Ranges. On the way, visit one of the most significant and extensive Jain temple complexes in the country, the Ranakpur Jain Temple. It holds immense importance for all Jains. Spread over an area of 4,500 square yards and consisting of 29 halls, the temple is one of the most important of the five major pilgrimage centers of Jainism. The Ranakpur Temple is renowned worldwide for its brilliant architecture and was voted among the top 77 wonders of the world. Reach Udaipur by evening. Check-in at the hotel. Evening is at your leisure. Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Udaipur.

Udaipur (sightseeing)

City Palace of Udaipur - After breakfast, head out for local sightseeing. Visit Fateh Sagar Lake (one of the most beautiful lakes in Udaipur). Then visit the Sahelion ki Badi, which was laid for a group of forty-eight young women attendants who accompanied a princess to Udaipur as part of her dowry. Afterwards, visit the City Palace Complex. It was built over nearly 400 years, atop a hill, in a fusion of Rajasthani and Mughal architectural styles, providing a panoramic view of the city and its surroundings. Then visit Bagore-ki-Haveli, a historic mansion that stands magnificently on the waterfront of the surreal Lake Pichola at Gangori Ghat. Then enjoy a sunset boat cruise (shared) at Lake Pichola. In the evening, enjoy the Dharohar Folk Dance Show at Bagore-ki-Haveli. See Rajasthani folk dancing, with nightly shows of colorful, energetic Marwari, Bhil, and western Rajasthani dances, as well as traditional Rajasthani puppetry. Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Udaipur.

Udaipur (departure)

Udaipur - After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Udaipur Airport. Bid farewell with the memories of an amazing fun-filled 07 days trip through the Royal Rajasthan worth remembering for a lifetime!

Excellent Rajasthan tour - Bout Tour India was definitely an excellent choice to organize our trip to India. They were always very kind and replied immediately to our requests. They were also extremely professional in checking if everything was moving adequately. Their guides are nice and well-trained, and our driver was phenomenal. Overall the tour was beautiful, we stayed in good hotels and their restaurant recommendations were good. I would absolutely recommend this agency!

Rajistan - A Royal Experience - Rajistan was spectacular as well as the hotels we stayed at- we opted for the comfort level and really they places felt like luxury. Bout india was gracious in greeting us as well as keeping in touch with us through the whole tour. They were able to quickly and Efficiently handle any problems or questions. Tour went very smoothly and we got to pack in a lot within a short amount of time. We will definitely be using Bout India again!

Helpful suggestions after sudden change of vacation plan - Excellent services by the team at Bout India . Would recommend them , trustworthy company . We were stuck due to insistent rains in Himachal and had to abort the plan for Leh . Bout india gave us an excellent alternative . Appreciate

Fabulous! - We had a wonderful vacation to Rajasthan planned by Himanshu and Bout Travels. His staff were very helpful and responsive. The guides in each city were kind, thoughtful and very knowledgeable. The driver who ferried us between cities was kind and helpful. We had a fabulous vacation and would definitely use this company again! Highly recommend them!! Only regret is we never got to meet Himanshu in person :-(

Excellent Service - I have booked the Rajasthan tour package through Bout India for 2 family and am very happy with the way the tour was organised. The choice of hotels were excellent, regular follow up by Bout India team every morning to check how the trip is going and if they can help with anything. They made sure to provide excellent transportation will a very professional driver who knows in and out of the places we had to visit, they were open for any additions.
