Enriching - Extremely well prepared and researched your focusing on the importance of water in the history of Rajastan, Jaipur and the Amber fort. Our family loved going through secret passages and learning about the role that water played in this desert (and still plays), all with the stunning Amber fort as a setting. Highly recommending!

The Water Walks tour of... - The Water Walks tour of Amer Fort and Mahal was one of my finest experiences in Jaipur. Mr Neeraj, who is extremely passionate about water management in Rajasthan, explains the history and legacy of Amer by keeping water as the central focus. This tour gives a unique perspective and helps us understand the place with even more awe and clarity. It is a must for anyone who wants to understand the significance of Amer beyond the casual visit. The visits to the restricted areas of the fort are a bonus!

A unique exploration of a popular palace - I cannot overstate how brilliant this tour was. Neeraj's passion for this project -- much like the passion of the engineers and royalty who built Rajasthan's grand structures -- makes it a unique experience. In more traditional parlance, it is simply unmissable. Neeraj takes you into Amber palace-fort, and then guides you a little away from the bustling crowd. And from a perch overlooking the lake, he starts telling a story. A story of Rajasthan, its history, its royalty, its architecture, and art -- but with water as his protagonist. It is a story that reveals the miraculous and the ingenuity that is seemingly invisible in front of you. A story of how managing water has built what is otherwise impossible. Through it, we progress through the palace-fort. Through dusty corridors and precarious steps into dimly lit underground chambers, all following water. We enter the more renowned palace areas illuminated by a new understanding. In the role of a more traditional tour guide, Neeraj also clicks photos of you -- and they are to be treasured as is the entire tour.

Excellent amber tour! - Phenomenal tour by Neeraj- it would have been a totally different story without special access to the interior chambers. Neeraj was professional, extremely knowledgeable, and passionate about Jaipur/rajasthan. One of the best tours I’ve been on anywhere! Hands down recommend!

A fascinating tour on Amber's history and architecture - Neeraj showed us Amber as we have never seen it before. It was a fascinating tour covering the history of Rajasthan and Amber, the intricate ancient water systems in the fort and all the beautiful palaces. It was interesting to see many aspects of the fort which are not accessible to general visitors. This tour is a must for visitors to Jaipur and also for those who have lived in Jaipur for many years and don't know about the marvels of engineering and architecture in Amber.

Fabulous insightful water walking tour of Amber Palace - Neeraj has done a lot of research on Amber Palace and that comes through in his talks during the walks. The best part is that we get access to see parts of the palace that are normally not available to the general public and have a deeper understanding of how people managed the most important natural resource - in the ancient times, both for drinking and for pleasure

Amber THE water civilization - Definitely a must do for Jaipurites and tourists. Such rich Heritage explained with detail and fact verification. We all felt that we were tele-ported back in 1700s during this unbelievable and well curated tour. We got to visit the special parts of the palace and see some unique and beautiful rooms. What was most striking was how water, the most basic of requirements, was managed in Amber to ensure a town could flourish in the desert region. Places today with electricity and technology struggle, but Jaipur/ Amber was the epicenter of trade, tourism and power.
