- Taj Mahal - After lunch, guests will visit the Taj Mahal. This iconic ivory-white marble mausoleum is located on the southern bank of the Yamuna River in Agra, India. Commissioned in 1632 by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, it was built to house the tomb of his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal, and also contains Shah Jahan’s tomb. A private guide will lead guests to the best spots for taking photographs.
- Agra Fort - Following the Taj Mahal visit, the guide will take guests to explore Agra Fort, renowned for its rich history. The fort has been under the ownership of various emperors and rulers, undergoing numerous transformations. It all began in 1526 with the first battle of Panipat between Babur and Ibrahim Lodi of the Lodi dynasty. After Babur’s victory, he made the fort and Ibrahim Lodi’s palace his residence, enhancing it with a large step well (baoli). The fort became a significant monument for the Mughals, with Babur’s successor, Humayun, being crowned there in 1530.

Wonderful experience - Everything was perfect, it was a great trip The guide was very nice, funny, knowleadgable and attentive to details. Moreover, he also took some incredible pictures, which is a big bonus. Both Mr. Shubash and the driver made sure that I was comfortable/happy for the whole duration of the trip. Everyone went out of their way to provide me with a great experience. All in all, I am very happy with this trip, so thank you once again to the wonderful team behind these trips!

Great tour, great guide! - A great there and back day trip to Agra. I had an excellent tour guide named Tanvir Ahmad. He is an approved guide with the Ministry of Tourism and it shows. His insight and knowledge of history were helpful in understanding the context of what we saw. We also talked about India in general. It was a wonderful conversation about his country.

Taj Mahal trip - We visited Red Fort and Taj Mahal. The first one is very interesting place, where we can find Indian history. Taj Mahal is a beautiful place, we were there at 5 a.m. and it was possible see the place without much people. Great tour and very prepared guide!

Taj Mahal trip - Rohit picked us up at 6.30 from our hotel. We had a long journey, though very comfortable in an air conditioned car. Rohit looked after us so well, we couldn’t have asked for better. He is a gentleman 🙂 He took us shopping for a sari on the way as we wanted to wear one for our tour. He really made the whole experience so enjoyable. I would highly recommend him, 5 stars without a doubt ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Agra and Taj Mahal at dawn - I participated with VWI in a tour in Agra with overnight stay. The transfer from Jaipur and back took place in comfort, the driver was available to meet my every need. The superior hotel had very spacious and elegantly furnished rooms. The bathroom was according to Italian standards. I particularly enjoyed the Guide, Tauseef, very professional and knowledgeable, with a passion for history, who made me appreciate this city and fascinated me with his stories about the history of the Taj Mahal, which we visited at dawn.
I recommend this tour.

Tired but happy - The Taj Mahal is one of the must monuments when visiting India. I very much enjoyed my day trip to the Taj Mahal and got to visit also the Agra Fort. Both monuments are stunning. The Guide is very knowledgeable and gives comprehensive explanations.

Don’t get me wrong. The place is nice. The guide and the manager were dreadful. - The guide was as if he needed to go home at 5 pm so he hurried us all the way through. The driver remembered the opening time incorrectly so we wasted a lot of time. It was not an easy day as that day has thick fog but we feel as if it’s our fault we arrive there late. We actually needed to negotiate to go to 3 places (itinerary said 4) the guide claimed the place closed at 4.30 pm when it closes at sunset and he actually insisted the lunch on the package which will result in going to Taj Mahal and the foggy abrenari only (almost did not go to agra fort). I told all of that to the manager and he still expects a good review. Very shameful.
