Jaipur - Abhaneri - Agra

Abhaneri - Abhaneri is renowned for having the deepest stepwell in the world, located opposite the Harshat Mata temple. The Chand Baori stepwell, believed to have a religious significance, is a square structure measuring 35 meters on each side. Three of its four sides have steps leading down to the bottom, used historically to draw water. Constructed in the 9th century, the 13-story well is about 100 feet deep and features 3,500 steps. The arid climate of the region necessitated digging deep for a reliable water source. The stepwell and its surroundings are exemplary of the architectural and geometrical prowess of ancient Indian architects.

Agra - The Taj Mahal, a symbol of love, was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in 1630 for his Queen Mumtaz Mahal. It took 20,000 men working day and night for twenty-two years to complete this masterpiece, which continues to awe the world. Later, visit the Agra Fort, where Shah Jahan was imprisoned by his son. The fort showcases the exquisite white marble craftsmanship, the Pearl Mosque, and the Halls of Public and Private Audience. Besides its historical monuments, Agra is also known for its rich heritage of handicrafts, which can be explored in its markets.

Agra - Delhi

New Delhi - After breakfast, depart for Delhi by road. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy a combined city tour of Old and New Delhi, including visits to the Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk, Raj Ghat (Mahatma Gandhi Memorial), and India Gate.
