Jaipur beyond the crowds - We had a wonderful tour with our guide Kumar. He told us all about Jaipur and its hidden stories in perfect English. He did not persuade us to buy anything from the workshops we visited. We wish we had taken the tour on a workday as many workshops were closed on a Sunday. Either way, we were able to see how people work with marble, paper and bangles. We also had the chance to try typical sweets from a very safe street food stalls. We would definitely recommend taking this tour if you want to discover Jaipur away from the crowds and tourist scams.

Great way to see the sights and tastes of Jaipur - We very much enjoyed a marvellous walking tour of the Pink City of Jaipur with Kumar, who is obviously not only very knowledgeable, but also very enthusiastic about his city and culture. We enjoyed the various food offered and exploring the bazaars and streets, watching the artisans at work.

Highlights of our trip - This tour was such a highlight to our trip. Kumar was so knowledgeable and full of fascinating information. Great way to go off the beaten track and see all the side streets and how people live in the city.

Fantastic walking talking and eating exploring Jaipur - Thank you Kumar for a great morning introduction to Jaipur. We really enjoyed our walking and taking and eating as we explored the bazaars and streets, and learnt so much. It was a fabulous morning, and we followed that the next day with a few more sights with our favourite guide.

On this tour, you'll experience everyday Jaipur - Arriving in Jaipur I was a little tired of the onslaught being in the centre of Indian cities; they can be intense and a bit too tourist friendly (in other words, you are perceived and treated as a walking wallet) But not on this walking tour! Harish is well spoken, calm & incredibly enthousiastic about his city. He'll show you places where real jaipurians live their lives, worship, and work (and don't really care about you walking around). He'll show you the schools where kids get their education, vibrant spice markets, temples, colourful vegetables vendors and the busy bazaars. The views were amazing. The impression I got was that Harish saw it as a duty to show me his city in a way I could understand it and not to deposit me at a spice shop or textile store like many rickshaw 'tour guides' will do to get commissions, there is a no shopping policy during this tour. Throughout I was not only fed great well cooked food and chai masala but also great life lessons (be like a traveler instead of a tourist, give your kindness to others like a sea instead of a well) All in all, if you find yourself in Jaipur and you'd like to go beyond the main forts and attractions, consider going on this tour.

Brilliant tour through Jaipur away from the tourist routes. - A truly extraordinary tour of Jaipur. Places you would never visit, craftsmen you would never see. You get to experience real local life on this tour. It doesn't get any better than this.

Amazing introduction to Jaipur - This walking tour was a great way to get introduced to Jaipur. I was taken around for 3.5 hours and shown lots of hidden gems and given the chance to eat lots of delicious street food with confidence it wouldn’t make me sick. Harish made me feel 100% comfortable from the start. I can’t recommend him or this tour enough.

Best of Walking Tour - Doing this tour is really worth it. Always enough time, no hassle and the love for the partially hidden and interesting features are the focus of this walk. We enjoyed having a respectful and fine person as a guide

Great, fun and felt safe in kumars company - Great seeing the pink city with a difference we visited the streets where the marble, the wood and the bangle makers were . We watched them work and it was fascinating. Kumar introduced us along our historical walk to street foods and drinks that I wouldn't have dared try alone. Highly recommend this walk

Learning the alley-life of Jaipur - It was my fifth day in Jaipur when going for the Cultural Walk with Kumar, but he was still able to show me many different sides of the city that I didn't know previously. We walked through different alleys of the Pink City, saw the Yellow City, listened to small historical briefs that Kumar gave, interacted with many workers, artisans, and small business owners. The life of the Pink City is so much more than its pink facade, and I was so grateful to learn more. We also had great samosas, chai, sweets, and lasee as well.
