Amber Palace - Amer Fort was constructed by Raja Shri Maan Singh Ji I in the 16th century. He started the construction of the fort in the 1592. Maan Singh was Kacchwaha (Rajput) of Ruler of Amber, which is now known as Jaipur. During the construction of the temple, he also commissioned the construction of a small temple dedicated to Sheela Mata, his patron goddess.
