Trinetra Ganesh Temple Ranthambore fort - Historical records suggest that in 1299 AD, a battle occurred between King Hammeer and Alauddin Khilji at the Ranthambore fort. During the prolonged conflict, the fort’s godowns were stocked with food and essentials. By 1300 AD, as supplies dwindled, King Hammeer constructed a temple dedicated to Lord Ganesh, featuring idols of Lord Ganesh, his wife Riddhi Siddhi, their two sons Shub Labh, and his vehicle, the mouse Mushak. The drive back home takes 3 1/2 hours, with an option to stop for lunch.

Begin your tour with a convenient pickup from your hotel in Jaipur. Enjoy a relaxing 3 1/2 to 4-hour drive to Sawai Madhopur. Your afternoon safari will start around 3 PM and you’ll explore the forest accompanied by an experienced government-approved naturalist guide in either an open 6-seater jeep or a larger 18-seater canter.
