Exceptional Safari - Excursion to the special desert. They picked us up at the hotel with the Jeep and on the way to the desert we made several stops at very unique places. Our camels were waiting for us and they took us to the destination where we would spend the night. We watched the sunset over a dune while our extraordinary guide prepared a delicious dinner cooked on the fire. To sleep, they prepared some beds for us and we fell asleep under a sky full of starts. In the morning a delicious breakfast was waiting for us. Exceptional experience. highly recommended.

Great caring Safariteam, brilliant experience - After checking the options i fully and wholeheartedly chose for the nontourist style of Pleasant Haveli camel safaris. I love independent travel and i do not like larger groups or gatherings so spending a night in the desert in a comfortable but quiet surroundings was perfect. I am travelling with my ten yr old son and we both absolutely loved this safari. We got picked up by jeep from the hotel by Arun, who is a interesting, knowledgeable and also fun and trustworthy guide. He explained a lot about the places w e saw and desert life in Rajasthan in general . We saw an oasis and the deserted village. Then we got on the camels: Our camelguide Naru is an excellent humanbeing in being so patient when my son was a bit hesitant or was impressed by the camels standing up and sitting down. The whole experience was adjusted exactly to our wishes: if we wanted to ride short or long etc . The food was good and its very fun to sit and see how lunch is made from scratch on the fire. Naru was very much service oriented, very friendly and very accommodating. Supergood. The stargazing sleeping was absolutely priceless ( according to my son the starry highlight ) In short: this is a superb experience and the pleasant safari team of Arun and camelman Neru goes the whole yard ( and further ! ). Highly recommended.

Desert delights🐪 - This is one of the highlights of our trip to India. My wife and I loved the whole 2 days. The Pleasant Safari was very well organised and catered for our every need. Arun the main guide and driver was both fun and informative, he works hard! Naru our camel 🐪 guide has such knowledge and passion for his camels. Lovely guys, a pleasure to be with. The Pleasant Haveli also organised a suprise wedding anniversary treat which I'm thankful for. I highly recommend this trip through the Pleasant Desert Safari, you will not regret it😃

Amazing last camel safari before Covid-19 - My gf and I were able to get the last camel safari before they closed down. It was amazing! The dunes were wayyy better than we anticipated. Amazing night under the stars as wel with a great meal cooked on site. Before the hotel closed down we were able to stay one last night and they upgraded us to a suite. The owner then sent us off to the aiport the next morning. Could not recommend enough after coronavirus has settled.

One of the highlights of our trip to India! - What an amazing time we had! The camels are sweet, the camel guide Sambu was fun, and Kamal, the man in charge, was even funnier. He and Sambu cooked us a delicious supper while we sat around the fire. Our bedroom was set up in a private area with plenty of warm blankets. The peace and quiet was restful, as was our sleep under the stars. You must do this!!

Great experience - Very nice experience. Ride with a Jeep to go to the camel point with 2 stops on the way to visit. Then camel ride, camp on a nice sand dunes. Everybody took great care of us, plenty of fresh cooked food and surprisingly good comfort (bed with lot of blankets under the stars in the desert = great night)

Authentic experience with terrific service - The camel safari was secluded with no other tourists around. The service was top notch. Our Jeep and camel drivers were super friendly and knowledgeable. The Pleasant Haveli hotel we stayed at let us store our luggage and use their facilities after we returned from the safari. The hotel staff were also incredibly helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this experience.

UNFORGETTABLE - Wow, just wow! This camel safari is amazing, we loved it. We left at the hotel in a jeep and drove to the desert. Driver was kind and drove safely. On our way we stopped at some interesting places (no shop or scam!) like villages, a lake where wild animals come to drink, the empty city ... a bit further away, our camels were waiting for us together with our guide ‘Honey’. He helped us put our scarves on our head to protect us from sun and sand, explained very well how to treat the camels and even taught us how to ‘ride’ them. We got the opportunity to ride the camels for one hour. It seems short but it’s enough because my ass started to hurt after that, haha! We ended our tour in the dunes, a really nice and dreamy spot in the desert. Here they prepared a great meal for us, made our beds and told us incredible stories while sitting around a camp fire. We were a group of 10 people which was just right. They only allow 12 people max so that’s great. The next morning they prepared breakfast for us with tea and after that we had the chance to ride the camels again back to our starting point (again +/- 1 hour). Then the jeep brought us back to the hotel. At the hotel they offered us a shower and clean towels to freshen up which was very welcome! I wasn’t expecting it at all so I was positively surprised. You are in good hands at pleasant Haveli if you want an unforgettable camel safari and night in the desert!
