Magical experience deep into the Thar desert - I recommend this tour wholeheartedly. It really does take you off the beaten track, and the whole thing is an unforgettable experience. From sleeping under the stars, to the unique lolloping ride on the camels, to a delicious meal cooked on an open fire… and Cchgan and the team are warm, generous people who treat you like friends — stopping for chai at the village, and taking you to see beautiful sights on the drive into the desert.

Great experience non touristy camel safari - It was a off path authentic experience it was just us, the camels and the desert!! I particularly enjoyed the camel ride through the dunes, the freshly cooked food eaten around the campfire, and sleeping under the stars was truly a lifetime experience!! I would totally recommend it!!!

Amazing experience and great hospitality! - Trotters' overnight camel safari was such a unique and incredible experience! We started with a jeep tour, with stops at an old fort and an oasis, and then we rode camels through the desert. Our guides made us pakoras and chai for a snack break, and then they cooked us a great dinner (including wild mushrooms they found on the way over in the meal!). All the guides were so kind and really made sure everyone was comfortable throughout the trip. The sleeping arrangements were good, and you could see a lot of stars after sunset. Trotters also has the best hospitality. When we got back from the safari, they offered us a room in their hotel to shower and rest for some time. They made us chai and gave us recommendations for other things to do. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone traveling to Jaisalmer!

A must in Jaisalmer - The experience was perfect! Very efficient communication and after picking us up from the hotel we headed to the desert. They had provided fresh water for the entire duration of the experiment. We ate very well and the night was magical under the (shooting) stars. If you come to Jaisalmer don't miss this unique experience!!

A magical moment! - Very well organized safari, hearty meals, comfortable beds under the stars, camel drivers who speak English and off-the-beaten-track routes. A magical moment I highly recommend!

Good Experience - Overnight Camel Safari - We did the overnight tour in the middle of May. As it was the low season, it was just us. Our driver Sagan (who was great) was on time for pick up and took us to his village too for tea which was a nice break on the drive back. We enjoyed our time on the camels and had a good meal followed by sleeping under the stars. Note - if you are expecting the Sahara, this is not the same. The dunes are smaller and more sparse but still it’s a good experience to see the nature. Trotters offered us a room with AC in their guest house for free to wait and take showers before our overnight bus the day after our tour. Very hospitable tour company with respectful and knowledgeable guides. In May, it’s very hot for a desert tour but they do make sure you ride camels in the evening and morning and it does cool down at night.

Very nice experience - Fun experience, beautiful landscapes and a very welcoming and familiar environment. The companions cook, sing and are very cheerful, creating a comfortable and pleasant atmosphere. I advise :)

Excellent organization - It was an incredible experience! We slept under the stars in comfortable beds with clean and warm covers, we had a delicious dinner cooked from the guys on the place. We saw the sunset and the day after we saw the sunrise while drinking fresh made Chai and we had a very good breakfast. I did already this Safari many years ago with another agency but The Trotters agency is way much better in organization and dedication. The price was totally fair.

A once in a lifetime experience! - Very customisable trips, you can pick whatever you want! I did a bit of everything and absolutely loved it. Jeep sightseeing, camel riding, dinner by the fire, sleeping under the stars and heading out the next morning. Highly recommend this group of kindhearted individuals who do an amazing job.
