Please note, the museum is closed on Mondays, so plan your visit accordingly. It’s a must-visit for anyone keen on delving into Indonesia’s cultural depth and history, with exhibits designed to be both educational and engaging for all ages.
- Jakarta Cathedral - Situated on Jalan Lapangan Banteng Utara, this Gothic-style cathedral, dating back to 1891, features a towering spire and high windows adorned with stained glass. Inside, three altars form a semi-circle, and an exquisite old altar resonates like a conch shell.
- Istiqlal Mosque - The Istiqlal Mosque in Jakarta, Indonesia, is the largest mosque in Southeast Asia and the sixth largest in the world by capacity. “Istiqlal” means “Independence” in Arabic. Located centrally, almost opposite the National Cathedral, the mosque symbolizes peace and religious tolerance. (Note: Istiqlal Mosque is closed every Friday, but can be viewed from the outside.)

Please note: On Mondays, the National Monument and Jakarta History Museum are closed, so we will adjust the itinerary to include other attractions in Jakarta.
