Highlights
  • National Museum - Also known as the Elephant Museum (currently under renovation). We will instead visit the largest mosque in Southeast Asia and the Cathedral Church. Thank you for your understanding.
  • Kota Intan Bridge - This bridge is one of the remaining Dutch heritage bridges in the town.
  • Fatahillah Square - A large square that served as the first Dutch government center.
  • Sunda Kelapa Harbour - The old harbor, which was the first harbor and the initial point of entry for invaders during the Sundanese Kingdom’s hegemony. Today, you can see traditional wooden boats, known as Phinisi Sailing Ships, navigating the Indonesian archipelago. Loading and unloading are done manually by laborers.
  • Glodok Chinatown - Here, we will visit the oldest Chinese temple, explore the farm market, and observe the local community.

History of Jakarta - This was an awesome tour and we learned many things about the history of Jakarta. Our guide Dwi was very knowledgeable and friendly. Our favorite part of the tour was visiting the puppet master.
