Experience of a lifetime - This was an experience of a lifetime that I’ll never forget. I’m a textile enthusiast and going to this museum is such a treat! My tour guide, Mr. Fiky, is superb! He spoke excellent English and translated everything for me. It was fun talking to him about the fabric, techniques, and history. The driver, Mr. Ogi took pictures and videos of my batik experience and made an awesome video for me to share on my instagram account. For lunch there was a miss communication about my dietary restrictions and Mr.Fiky fixed that for me. He found a place that made a delicious vegan meal. I still dream about that meal!! Afterwards my guide took me to the cathedral church, mosque, and other national landmark. We talked about the architecture and historical figures that shaped the landscape. I’ll never forget this experience and thank y’all so much for taking care of me!!!
