• YS Falls - Board a tractor-pulled jitney to reach YS Falls, a series of seven waterfalls that flow into natural pools. Enjoy a refreshing dip in the waterfall pools and a 4-foot (1.2-meter) deep wading pool surrounded by a patio and garden. Additional activities include a canopy zipline tour and river tubing rides. Lifeguards are present.

The Estate features a restaurant for lunch purchases, changing rooms, and eco-friendly restrooms. Your full-day tour concludes with a return to your starting point in Montego Bay.

• Swaby’s Swamp Safari - Explore the South Coast’s beauty with a boat tour. Journey up Jamaica’s largest navigable river and through its largest wetland area, the Black River lower morass.

The 1.5-hour boat tour on the Black River is highly recommended. Glide in a comfortable Safari boat past towering Red Mangrove trees with stilt-like roots reaching over 40 feet into the calm waters. Spot the rare and endangered American Crocodile in its natural environment and observe some of the 100 species of exotic birds in these pristine wetlands. Watch local fishermen catch fresh crabs in traditional wooden canoes, sharing the river with crocodiles!

• Floyd’s Pelican Bar - Located between Treasure Beach and Black River, you’ll be taken by a fishing boat to a rustic wooden bar built on a sandbar a quarter mile out to sea. The Pelican Bar is ideal for sunbathing, drinking beer, swimming, and enjoying fresh fried fish. The bar was the dream of local fisherman Floyd Forbes, who envisioned a bar out at sea on stilts. Large wooden planks were transported on his fishing boat, and in 2001, “The Pelican Bar” was completed, named after the pelicans that rest on the sandbank. It quickly became a favorite spot for locals and tourists seeking picture-perfect tranquility. Enjoy the beautiful sunset (weather permitting), cliff diving, and live Reggae music. It’s the perfect place to relax with a cocktail in hand. The 15-20 minute boat ride is well worth it.

This unique tour takes you through the interior of the rain forest. The first stop is Y.S. Falls where you can enjoy nature in its natural state, as the cool refreshing water cascades down approximately 120 feet into the Y.S. River. Next journey by boat up the Black River Safari, Jamaica’s longest river, where you’ll see exotic birds, plants, and wildlife such as the endangered American crocodile.
