The only way to visit Klein Curaçao! - This excursion was fabulous! From the point you get on the boat to the very end of the day, this crew takes care of everything. It’s a rough water ride over, others that mention this aren’t kidding. However, the mermaid crew is there to assist. This crew ensures your safety and any other need is met. Covered areas on the boat, lounge chairs, tasty meals. The only way to experience Klein Curaçao, it’s an impressive operation with exceptional management. This is one of the very best experiences we have had on a day trip in all the years of traveling the Caribbean. A must do when visiting the island.

Best Day-trip on the Island - This was such a beautiful, relaxing, well-organized day trip. From the moment we were picked up until we were dropped off we were taken care. Since they have their own facility on the island we had the complete resort feel and treatment. The beach area was clean and beautiful white sands. Breakfast and lunch were delicious and more food than we could ever eat. The staff were happy, friendly, and helpful. The only things you need to bring are a towel, sun screen and an island life attitude. When we come back, we will definitely be reliving this wonderful experience.

Unperishable. - Unperishable. The beach is one of the most beautiful I have ever been, unexplained. Just going to know. Many people give up in fear of getting sick on the boat, but we were in 3 and nobody sick. I didn't see anyone getting sick either. It's worth it. The service of the Mermaid is excellent and they have their own structure on the island, which is uninhabited.

Sensational, would come back a thousand times, everything impeccable - The crossing was super quiet, the sea was calm, different from many reports I saw, I don't know if I was lucky or if it was the season, but it was all very quiet... Klein healing is surreal, it was the most beautiful sea I've ever seen in my life! Never seen anything like that, the blue is out of the normal, too beautiful! It is worth every penny, the food served is very good... it was perfect, do not think twice about going with the MERMAID, it is the best structure of the island, made all differential, it makes no sense to save to go to the others that have no structure on the island.

Great Day at the Beach - 6 trips to Curacao. 4th trip to Klein. Done it all different ways. Mermaid tours wins hands down. The seas are always rough and Mermaid is the best riding vessel for the trip. Places to sit and drinks available on the return trip. SHADE! ride to and from in the SHADE! The most experienced crew to get you on and off the island since most choose to take a smaller boat to shore. This is HUGE! The mermaid has exclusive place tiki huts, cabanas, palapas whatever you want to call them for its patrons to use. yup, reclining lounge chairs included. There is no shade on this island. You book with some one else you are going to be in the sun all day and its brutal. My wife and I laugh watching other charters come in and soon figure out theres no place to go but sit in the water and fry. FOOD! Mermaid has really upped their game from the first time we used them. it used to be burgers and whatever. Now it is barbqued pork chicken beef...all Caribbean fixins! Full plates and even seconds! AND a great sandwich for breakfast! Not much to see out here snorkeling. Pretty much all sand, no reef but beautiful sandy beach and oh the water....gorgeous. Breeze all day and dont forget to go see the huge hermit crabs walking all over the building where you eat. Super cool. Do what you want but those overcrowded catamarans with no shade, no chairs and climbing on and off to get your food aint for us. Mermaid all the way!

Awesome day! - Great day! Lunch was incredible. Plenty to keep you busy on the island. Staff was super friendly. Water was the most incredible blue.

beautiful island, tour co meh - Check in was quick & easy. Ride is 1.5 hrs each way. (way there is pretty rough. a few ppl got sick) When you board, try to sit on the bottom deck as youll be able to get off before 2nd deck & have dibs on palapas when you get to Klein. They cant dock right on the shore so they transfer you in little boats (see pix). Then if you wanna sit on the beach/palapas you have to go get your own loungers fr the storage & put them back before leaving (found this unusual considering all the money we paid & on all the tours ive been in MX, Hawaii, caribbean, etc, never asked to do my own setup). Food was set up buffet style. Alcohol available for sale was very limited. You pay for it on the ride back. They call you down to the 1st deck to go pay. (I was anxious about falling even though waves werent as rough as ride there, we still felt them. so i decided to wait till we docked. However i wasnt able to, they made an announcement with names of those who still hadnt paid. That was annoying). Also saw a tourist struggling to help her disabled mother walk down stairs & transfer to little boat alone. It didn’t seem that staff were super attentive or engaging. Pros: They did check on tourists who werent feeling well, walked around offering fruit during ride back, seemed to have plenty of food & soda, did not request & push for tips (as seems to be common on other islands). Having the shelter & palapas (for those who could get them) was helpful for relief fr the sun. Location was ideal as we walked along the shore and noticed it was very rocky near other areas docked with other tours.

Mediocre Mermaid but Amazing Klein - Mermaid has the best accommodations once on the island but the hospitality is lacking. Workers (minus the lovely bartender) rude and dismissive even to children. The food was not good at all as we have done similar tours on other islands. The boat is ok but hard seats for such a long ride. Klein was gorgeous would not go with Mermaid again.

Frustrated ride - Boat very full, cashier unnecessarily rude but the rest of the crew polite. We had the tour canceled halfway through because the sea was too rough… it happens. They then served what would be coffee (bread with cheese, bread with ham, sweet bread and fruit - banana and orange), refunded the money or rescheduled for anyone who wanted it. Positive point that they aimed at safety above profit.
