Join us for an exciting adventure on the Athabasca River for a distinct viewpoint of Jasper National Park. This round trip, lasting 2-3 hours, navigates through multiple small rapids and serene stretches, providing an opportunity for your licensed National Park guide to share Jasper’s natural and human history. This river trip is suitable for the entire family, from little ones to the elderly, and for swimmers as well as non-swimmers.
Rivers are classified on a spectrum from one to six. Class 1 signifies placid moving water, while class 6 represents a ferocity on par with Niagara Falls. The segment of the Athabasca River we’ll be rafting on is categorized as Class 2, implying that it includes parts with rapids, potentially resulting in a wet posterior.
