This had all the elements of a great hike - The scenery in this part of Canada is one magnificent view after another. The Maligne Canyon Tour did not disappoint. My wife and I thought of it as spectacular scenery with relatively minimal effort. It was more than just a scenic stroll because of our guide Jeff. Like all good guides he was attentive to questions and forthcoming with information, answers, and of course … stories. For us, understanding why and how things have developed make the difference. A very pleasant afternoon.

A must see! - Warren was our tour guide today and he was BRILLIANT! He gave so much interesting information about the canyon and the geology of the area. The canyon was stunning despite it still being a bit frozen. Definitely would recommend! The walk isn’t too strenuous and there are plenty of hand rails to make it accessible!

Down, then up, along the river with limited views. - Because of the deep cut of the river you rarely see the water, but there are four (or five) bridges crossing that give you a better view. Steps are cut into parts of the trail making the footing better, but it is still all down and then up. Not along trail, although you can extend it well into the canyon, but but by then you have left the bridges and everyone else behind with little change in the view or reason to extend.
