Highlights
  • 9.81 PARK - Jeju Island 9.81 Park is Korea’s first gravity racing and is a place where you can enjoy eco-friendly electric karts. Jeju Island’s representative attraction, Mt. Hallasan Mountain. Anyone can safely enjoy the activity while looking at the Aewol Sea, and down racing is thrilling as you go down the hill using only the acceleration of gravity. Additionally, there are many types of activities that can be enjoyed indoors as well as outdoors. FRS Game Pro Arena, basketball, archery and bumper cars, etc. - Sanbangsan Carbonate Hot Springs - Sanbangsan Carbonated Hot Springs is a popular hot spring on Jeju Island and a rare hot spring in Korea. While more than 95% of hot springs across the country are simple sulfur hot springs, this is the best carbonated hot spring with a lot of sodium bicarbonate ions. Jeju Sanbangsan carbonated hot springs are good for the treatment of adult diseases such as high blood pressure, peripheral blood vessels, circulatory disorders, and rheumatism, as well as for fatigue recovery and skin care. You can relieve fatigue from traveling in nature and feel the wonder of carbonated hot springs. - Eoseungsaengak - Eoseungsaengak is a favorite oreum for visitors who want to climb lightly. The natural ecology is well preserved and is used as a nature learning trail. On a clear day, you can see Chujado Island, Biyangdo Island, and Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak in the distance, and it is 1.3km to the summit of Eoseungsaengak Peak. The tour takes about 30 minutes one way, and the entrance is next to the Eorimok Visitor Information Center. At the top of Eoseungsaengak Peak, which is 1,169m above sea level, Tochka, a Japanese military facility built in 1945, remains. They are connected to each other through trenches, and were supposed to communicate with the underground fortress at the waist of Eoseungsaengak, but they are now sunken and blocked. - Jeongbang Waterfall - Jeongbang Waterfall is known as one of the three major waterfalls in Jeju Island along with Cheonjeyeon Waterfall and Cheonjiyeon Waterfall. It is 23m high, 8m wide and 5m deep, and it is the only waterfall in Korea that falls directly from the land to the sea. It is a 15-minute bus ride from downtown Seogwipo. After purchasing a ticket at the ticket office at the entrance and descending the stairs with pine trees for about 5 minutes, you can see Jeongbang Falls, which turns into the color of the Milky Way in the sunlight. You can hear the cool sound of the waterfall from a far, and you can also see vertical rock walls with well-developed columnar joints on both sides of the waterfall. The appearance of Jeongbang Waterfall, which descends from Hallasan Mountain and passes through downtown Seogwipo and trembles in white in front of the sea. - Oedolgae - Jeju Seogwipo Oedolgae is a stone pillar about 20m in height and 7-10m in width created by the erosion of waves in the lava field erupted from a volcanic eruption. The name Oedolgae comes from the fact that a rock stands alone in the sea. Oedolgae was designated as Scenic Beauty No. 79 in 2011 along with Sanbangsan Mountain (Scenic Spot No. 77) and Soesokkak (Scenic Spot No. 78). Oedolgae is also called ‘General Rock’ and ‘Grandma Rock’, and each has a legend related to its name. After meeting Oedolgae, we leisurely walked along the beautifully designed promenade to Seonnyeotang on Hwanguji Coast. And I looked at Saeseom Island and Saeyeongyo Island, which I had walked the night before, from afar. - Yongmeori Beach - 용머리해안 Yongmeori Coast is located at the foot of Sanbangsan Mountain and extends to the coast. It is called Yongmeori Coast because it resembles the head of a dragon going into the sea. Layers of sandstone rock walls built up over tens of millions of years have been carved by waves to form strange cliffs. The traces of the waves kept in the cave room or the rock wall, which is hollow like a secret room hit by waves, make you feel the grandeur of facing a long history. The spectacular scenery of the 30-50m-long cliffs meandering has been filmed as a background for commercials and movies. A narrow but flat wave grove has developed in front of the sea cliff, serving as a trail that allows you to go around the Yongmeori Coast. It takes about 30 minutes to look around. In case of bad weather or high tide, entry is prohibited due to high risk. As you walk along the sandstone layer, haenyeo (haenyeo) sell seafood on stalls in the coastal area. - Daepo Haean Jusangjeolli Cliff - Columnar joints are 4- to 6-square pillars that look as if they were delicately carved with a sharp carving knife, and are vertical joints that appear in basaltic lava flows. It was formed as a result of the contraction process that occurs when thick lava flows from a crater and cools rapidly. You can enjoy the mystery of nature as the hexagonal stone pillars, which stand on top of each other as if they were stacked stairs, are surrounded like a folding screen. The waves crashing against the pillars are also a captivating sight, and in severe cases, a ‘show’ is held that soars more than 20 meters in height, capturing the soul of those who see it. The Jungmun and Daepo coast columnar joints are the largest in Korea, with a height of 30 to 40 m and a width of about 1 km, and are designated as Jeju Island Natural Monument No. 443.

Good experience in Jeju - Mr Kim was a great guide, driver and photographer. He wanted us to have the best experience in Jeju. We had some places in mind, but he also suggested some others that were in the same path and we didn't know about. We also enjoyed the food at the restaurant he recommended. Thank you for the amazing tour, Mr Kim.
