This fun spot is called the Jeju Mysterious Road or Dokkaebi Road. It earned its name because when you place a car on this steep road, the car does not roll down but it goes up, defying gravity.
This is actually an optical illusion, in which the surroundings trick the eye and make the road look like it is tilted in the opposite direction.

Mr. Lee is the best! 10/10 recommend! - Mr. Lee made our day touring Jeju absolutely unforgettable. He was so kind & went out of his way to help us, especially since we don’t speak Korean. Without Mr. Lee, our time visiting Jeju would not have been nearly as special. 10/10 recommend this tour. Ask for Mr. Lee specifically!

Jeju Day Tour - Tour is definitely amazing as well as the views. What makes it more fun-filled is the great assistance provided by our tour guide Mr. Ko. He is very knowledgeable about the tour and gives helpful insights. He helps a lot in taking nice photos for the group, making this day tour truly memorable for all of us.
