Our journey will take us through the hilly landscapes of Judea, heading to Bethlehem, the domain of King David. Upon our arrival, we’ll explore the city, taking in its significant and historic landmarks before we reach Manger Square. Here, we will tour the Church of The Nativity, built over the underground cavern where Jesus is said to have been born. Subsequently, we’ll follow our guide on a brief walk to the Church of Milk Grotto, where The Holy Family sought sanctuary from the Massacre of Innocents.
After this, we’ll proceed to Beit Sahour, the town of the Shepherds. Here, we will tour the Chapel of the Shepherd’s field, the site where angels supposedly revealed to the Shepherds that Jesus Christ was born.
The tour encompasses a visit to both an olive wood workshop and a cooperative store.
