Knowledgeable, efficient and highly recommended - Meni Tzabari is excellent . We had a great time and learned a lot from this tour . He has a vast of knowledge with the history from biblical to present . He is also a great tour guide and very efficient in navigating so we dont have to wait in long lines and we get to see many sites . He also kept us safe . I will definitely highly recommend him to my family and friends when they decided to go on tour in Israel . We spend 6 days with him and covwr many areas of Israel .

Great private tour of Jesus’ birth in Bethlehem and His death and resurrection in Jerusalem. - Zahi Shaked, our tour guide, was excellent. He was knowledgeable about all areas we saw. He explained and answered all our questions. He was pleasant and patient with us. I thoroughly enjoyed my day.

Fascinating tour which exceeded expectations - We were concerned about this tour as arranging it had been difficult and the confirmation came on a no reply email and contained no contact details except our own! Please correct this for others. But the trip was excellent. The pick up was there ahead of time, the manager at the sorting car park, where we shifted to another minibus was professional and communicated well. Our guide was excellent. The best of all the guides touring Jordan, Isreal and Egypt. Dan was very personable and enthusiastic. He was knowledgeable about infrastructure and nature on our journey to and from the sites and then about the religions and sites we visited. He outlined what we were going to do at each stage and was warmly assertive to get the best for his group of 17 in Jerusalem. He organised the optional lunch well and used good interactive teaching skills to engage us. His distinctive straw hat held up helped us identify him in the crowds. His English was easy to follow. Others on the tour commented on our guides sensitivity to different religions, nationalities and cultures. The tour is fast paced. We had another guide in Bethlehem who was also kind and helpful. The drive in Palestine to see Bethlehem was an education! The tour from Tel Aviv is expensive now in the small group but larger than 17 would be unmanageable. However we really enjoyed and appreciated it. Thanks Dan a great experience. X

Our First Visit to the Holy City of Jerusalem - The city that was chosen by God and the city our Savior loved and even wept when the people of this city rejected their own Messiah. I can not express in words what I felt when I entered this Holy City.

Highly recommended - I did not book them directly ,however they tour guides in Jerusalem and Bethlehem were both amazing and very knowledgeable. The tour guide in Bethlehem was Martin but I forgot the guide's name is Jerusalem. I will definitely book them directly next time.

Good overview of the locations, but packed and tiring schedule - Note: This is review of a trip of Jerusalem & Bethlehem from Tel Aviv (“from Tel Aviv" was not one of the options in the drop-down menu) Booking class. We booked a business-class tour, which is about 10% costlier than a regular tour. I wrongly assumed that "business class" would mean vehicle and pace would be more comfortable; in reality, one is paying extra for a smaller group that would be led faster! Transport. The minibus that are offered by tours have seats and leg room like the economy-class of a low cost carrier - meaning tight seat pitch and packed rows. Having experienced the pace at which these smaller tours are led, I would recommend booking the Tourist class. The Tour We were picked-up at a hotel in Herzliya by 0715, and transferred to another minibus alongside the exhibition grounds on Rakoch Blvd in Tel Aviv. This seems like the start point for other tour service providers, and I would recommend getting here directly (if possible). We left Tel Aviv by about 0800 and our first stop was Bethlehem, which we reached by 0930. Enroute, our driver-cum-guide pointed towards sights and spoke about the history surrounding the location. Our group transferred into two smaller minivans and sped through to the Church of Nativity, where our guide Natalie gave us a lovely tour. We stopped briefly at a souvenir shop, and then sped back to the point to transfer to our minibus, and then drove to a parking lot near the Western Wall (1300). From there, we were on foot, and after 30-min walk, we entered a restaurant for lunch (~1330). We had to climb 3 floors to the roof, and this was not convenient for the senior citizens on the tour. The views from the roof-top were great, although our veggie options was limited to falafel. After lunch (~1430), it was a brisk walk through the quarters in the old city and to a few Holy sites. The Western Wall was our penultimate stop (1630), where we got about 20 mins. And then we walked back to the parking lot and drove to a restaurant on the elevated area near the University - for a restroom break and coffee/snack. We were back in the middle of Tel Aviv by around 1830, where we were booked on a taxi to our pickup point in Herzliya. Guide. Our driver-cum-guide spoke good English, but it felt like he was perpetually in a rush. We barely had time to shop in the markets; however, he ensured we got time to explore some of the Holy sites. Kotel Tunnel Tours These 1-day tours don't include a visit to the Holocaust Memorial or the Kotel Tunnel tours; some of the tours use the word "Kotel" in their itinerary - please clarify and don't assume. For those who don't know the history of the Western Wall, I would recommend the Kotel Tunnel tour be done first, since it offers a visual depiction of the history followed by a guided walk in underground tunnels. This tour can be booked on their website, but be prepared to book well in advance (~2 weeks). Ensure you have a local tel# in order to make the booking. Camera. I used a D90 with a Tokina 11-16 f2.8 for this tour. It was great for all outdoor photography, since there was enough light. Within the Holy sites and the tunnel tour, I missed a monopod or a lens with larger aperture. Summary. This is a good tour to get an snapshot of the old city of Jerusalem and a visit to Bethlehem - within a day; one should set expectations accordingly. These tours will be quick and one should be prepared to walk fast without hopes of enjoying the sights and aromas. One would ideally need 2-3 days to experience the history and culture of Jerusalem - and I doubt if any 1-day tour would do justice.

Could have been much better! - We did a tour in January 2023. There were 3 of us and we were with a group who filled the rest of the bus and all knew each other. When we first got on the bus, there was not room for one of us. The guide had a child move from her seat. The group we joined with had many Spanish speakers. So while the guide did speak English, everything was interpreted into Spanish. It was distracting and took a lot more time. The guide in Bethlehem (Adel) was awesome and kept people moving. The guide in Jerusalem would set times to be back and would never keep to them. More time was spent shopping than I would have preferred. It just seemed like we should have been added to a different group and not one that obviously wanted to have a Spanish-speaking guide.
