Perfect day in the Old City. - A great tour and experience. Our tour guide was both friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Pick up in Tel Aviv, informative ride to Jerusalem, and a personalized walk through and around the old city. The best way to see the city if you only have one day.

ITAMAR - It was spectacular. Our guide Itamar Buk ( I will probably never forget the name Itamar) was LOVELY! He was social, very knowledgeable and I must say I enjoyed the whole trip, which was overwhelming seeing Jerusalem and also the Holocaust museum. Itamar took as to all places around, a great balanced tour and I felt really safe, as I didn’t know how it would be traveling alone. So, a great recommendation also if you’re traveling alone. Would advise it to everybody. Hope to come back soon.

Jerusalem in a rush - It was a really nice trip! The guide Abu Shai was very professional, a history professor giving courses in US universities, as he stated. And indeed a lot of historical background was given beyond the facts about the sites we visited. Furthermore information was always intended to be in a consistent (not always religious) context. I really enjoyed the discussions. Unfortunately, we went through Jerusalem with a great portion of hurry, not really giving us time to rest and contemplate as I would have preferred for such a magic place on earth. People were also told to don't stop at any stall or photographic site except the ones we were told by the guide. The excuse was that we had to pass by so many places in the given time frame. Finally we finished the tour in around 6 hours. Anyway I learned a lot and enjoyed what I found. Thanks

Gift shops should not take precedence over sites - Our guide was excellent and very knowledgeable. He was very willing to answer questions and was very engaging. The only thing I took issue with was how much time we spent in the gift shop compared to the time we were able to spend in the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. It felt like we spent 30 minutes in the gift shop prior, then went into the church and were only given 20 minutes to explore. It's impossible to look at everything in that amount of time in such a complex building with so many holy sites to wait in line for. It's the most important church in Christianity and should be a mayor focal point of the trip. People dont travel thousands of miles to sit in gift shops. The itinerary has everything blocked out in time, and it says 30 minutes for that church, but it doesnt mention stops at gift shops that are taking time away. I'm not going to mention the guide by name because I really liked him, but I went on 4 Bein Harim tours and every single tour guide is showing preference for the gift shops over the sites. Not saying there should be no gift shops, but cut the time so tourists can see what they came for. Thanks.
