07:50 a.m. Departure towards Jerusalem. En route, we will pass by “Latrun,” a strategic hilltop in the Latrun salient of the Ayalon Valley, overlooking the road between Tel-Aviv and Jerusalem….

07:20 A.M Pick up from hotels in Tel Aviv.
07:50 a.m. Departure towards Jerusalem. En route, we will pass by “Latrun,” a strategic hilltop in the Latrun salient of the Ayalon Valley, overlooking the road between Tel-Aviv and Jerusalem.
The excursion begins with a panoramic view of the Old City of Jerusalem.
We will see the New Gate, Damascus Gate, and Flowers Gate.
We will pause to learn about the Lions Gate and Golden Gate.
The Zion Gate:
Visit Mount Zion, located south of the Old City of Jerusalem. Highlights include the Room of the Last Supper, the Tomb of King David, the synagogue of David, and the Nabi-Daud Mosque.
The Jaffa Gate:
Visit the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, the Cardo (an ancient Roman road), and the last 5 stops of Christ.
At 12:45 p.m., we will take a lunch break. (Lunch is not included; you can add it for a fee of $17 per person.)
After lunch, we will continue to the Via Dolorosa, the Western Wall, and the Dung Gate.
15:30 p.m. Departure back to Tel Aviv.
- King David’s Tomb - Visit Holy Mount Zion, just outside the walls of old Jerusalem, known as the site of the Last Supper and the burial place of King David, father of King Solomon.
- Dung Gate - Also called the Gate of the Moors, Dung Gate is one of the seven open gates of Old City Jerusalem. The others are New Gate, Zion, Jaffa, Lions’ (St. Stephen’s), Herod’s, and Damascus (Shechem).
- The Way of the Cross - Via Dolorosa - This route starts at St. Stephen’s (Lions’) Gate in the Muslim Quarter of the Old City and leads to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. It is believed to be the path Jesus took while carrying the Cross to his crucifixion.
- Western Wall - The Western Wall is the remaining part of the Second Temple of Jerusalem and a sacred place of prayer for the Jewish people.
