This excursion takes you to the southern parts of Israel, crossing the Judean Hills, and passes by the Inn of the Good Samaritan. A stop is made at sea level for a memorable photograph opportunity before we continue our journey further below sea level towards the famous Dead Sea. Our initial halt is at Masada, where we voyage via a cable car to the plateau summit to explore the remnants of Herod’s fortress palace that dates back 2,055 years. We witness amazing structures such as palaces and a bathhouse. Post Masada, the tour moves past the desert haven of Ein Gedi and Qumran where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. The remainder of the day is spent unwinding at one of the Dead Sea beaches. Experience floating in the highly saline water which is 8.6 times saltier than the ocean causing automatic buoyancy. Use the Dead Sea mud as a natural skincare mask and bask in the radiant Dead Sea sunshine.
