Your excursion to Wuzhen water town commences with a coach collection from your Hotel in Hangzhou. A 90-minute journey will see you arriving in Wuzhen.

Pay a visit to the Hundred-Bed Museum (Zhao Hall), recognized for being the first institution in China dedicated to preserving and displaying ancient beds from the Yangtze River delta region. Admire the intricate carving and exquisite designs on these age-old beds, while your guide narrates the intriguing tales that echo the rich cultural heritage of ancient Chinese civilization.

Subsequently, explore the Sanbai Wine Workshop, the lone surviving winery in Wuzhen, established during the Song Dynasty. During the Ming Dynasty, liquor brewing was a significant industry in Wuzhen, having over 20 active distilleries. Get a glimpse of how traditional techniques are used in wine making. Next stop is the Hongyuan Thai dye house where you can witness the traditional craft of creating indigo-dyed printed calico. Wuzhen is a primary provider of this blue, flower-patterned cloth.

Chinese Venice - It was a little bit crowded at that time due to public holidays in China, but totaly worth 2 hrs drive from Hangzhou. Very well preserved ancient Chinese rural village. Good for taking pictures in traditional attires)

One of the highlight of my trip - 3 words. Breathtaking views, rich heritage and memories of a life time. I like the tranquility spots and also some touristy spots as well.

Nice tour. - Wuzhen- the Venice in the east. I enjoyed the traditional houses built along the river and the peaceful life style. What's more, they got many nice halls to display the original workshops. The night view in West Part is really unique.
