• Confucius Temple - Begin the day by meeting the private tour guide and driver at the hotel lobby or Qufu Train Station in the morning. Proceed to Confucius Temple, the largest and most famous temple dedicated to Confucius in East Asia. Since 1994, the Temple of Confucius has been included in the UNESCO World Heritage Site “Temple and Cemetery of Confucius and the Kong Family Mansion in Qufu.”
• Kong Mansion - Following the visit to the Temple of Confucius, continue to Kong Mansion, situated on the east side of the Confucius Temple. The Kong Family Mansion evolved from a modest family home connected to the temple into a grand mansion where the male direct descendants of Confucius resided and worked. After a fire and the reconstruction of the temple with an enclosure wall modeled after an imperial palace in the 14th century, the mansion was rebuilt a short distance from the temple.
• Kong Forest - After enjoying a delightful lunch at a highly recommended local restaurant, Lu Cheng Wang Shi, transfer to Kong Forest, the Cemetery of Confucius, which includes hundreds of tombs and gravesites. Confucius himself, along with some of his disciples and many thousands of his descendants, are buried here.
  The tour concludes with a transfer back to the hotel or train station.
