Upon arrival, the first destination is the Temple of Confucius, originally constructed in 478 BC to honor Confucius. Over 300 structures were built during the Jin, Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties. The temple follows the design standards of imperial palaces, featuring yellow roof tiles and red-painted walls, surrounded by dark-green pine trees to create a striking color contrast.

• Qufu Dacheng Hall - Guests can explore the halls and courtyards with their tour guide, learning about the architectural symbolism, admiring the statue of Confucius, visiting stone tablets, steles, and pavilions, and discovering Confucius’ life and the rich history and culture associated with him.
• Kong Mansion - The tour continues with a walk through the small market to explore the Kong Family Mansion.
• Former Residence of Confucius in Qufu - This residence, where Confucius’ descendants lived, was the site of elaborate religious ceremonies for events like plantings, harvests, honoring the deceased, and birthdays. Today, the mansion includes 152 buildings with 480 rooms.
• Kong Forest - The Confucian Cemetery has been the family burial ground for Confucius and his descendants for over two thousand years. Known as the Forest of Confucius due to the abundance of trees, over 20,000, it features numerous tombstones, temples, pavilions, and sculptures. Approximately 3,600 tombstones from the Song, Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties remain in the cemetery.

After the tour concludes, guests will be transported back to their hotel in Jinan.
