Professional, organizer with deep knowledge and experience in the history of the sexes of the wider area. In addition, he organized our accommodation and meals excellently.
Finally, I would like to point out that the driver of our vehicle was top notch!

Knowledgeable, friendly and toughtfull guide - Degu was a wonderful guide. He is very thoughtful, smart and try to offer a package that suits the guest. I had an amazing 3 day trip visiting the tribes of Banna, Karo and Hammer for a great value of money. Degu has a lot of knowledge about Ethiopian culture, know how to speak the local languages and has many different conections troughout the tribes. On the last day I had food poison and Degu was very caring bringing me to hospital, pharmacy and helping out with translation. I tottaly reccomend him as a guide for anyone willing to visit Ethiopia.

Great Experiences with The Tribal People. - Degu Omo Valley Tour delivers their best during the whole program. Very good services, time management, choices of hotel and restaurant and people. I've visited Mursi, Alduba Market, Karo, Hamer and Dassanech Tribes. They all are very interesting.

Degu the best dancer - Degu is a genuine and great human being rather than just a tour guide . You will be having fun and great talk with him

Absolute worthwhile - Absolute impressive tour. Apart from the Mursi people we felt - visiting various tribes and a market- that we where merely ‘allowed to observe’, and not being presented with ‘people putting up a show for us’. An
impressive happing is the bull-jumping rite. Appeared all very ancient and authentic to us. And all this set in a breathtaking landscape!

Amazing, Cultural and a Photographers Dream. - From the start to the end this was a fantastic adventure. Degu put me at ease immediately and everything went to plan.
Degu had planned 3 days with the Suri tribe and made sure they were varied and enjoyable. The food was amazing ( thank you Indie ) and our driver ( Hapte thank you ) was careful and safe. Degu’s spoken English is phenomenal as is his knowledge of the Suri Tribe.

Trip of a lifetime - Degu isn't just a great guide - he is an exceptional guide. First of all, my plans kept changing and he was very understanding and helpful throughout the whole process. Once I arrived, he made me feel comfortable and was always willing to adapt the experiences to my needs and wishes. He is also a fabulous photographer. I would recommend him to anyone who visits amazing Omo Valley and I hope to come back soon myself!
On a different topic, if you're visiting the tribes, you may feel like you want to bring a few smiles to the faces of these beautiful people. From what I have observed, here are some ideas:
Mursi, Karo - bananas or any fresh fruit from the nearby towns (you'll be shocked by how little access to fresh food they have). Soap is in high demand, you can buy boxes of small bars in Jinka
Konso - clothes, especially t-shirts, particularly kids t-shirts. Doesn't have to be anything fancy, can be second-hand.
All tribes - big packets of baloons. My biggest regret is not bringing any from home. It would have been an absolute hit with the kids, none of whom have any toys.
Enjoy the incredible Omo!!
