Begin your journey with an educational visit to the Great Wall Museum, where you’ll discover fascinating facts about the Jiayuguan Pass and the Great Wall, including its history, old photographs, and relics. Next, enter the gate to explore the Jiayuguan Pass, a complex of towers, city walls, and other military structures spanning over 25,000 square meters. The city wall stands nearly 11 meters high and consists of both an outer and inner wall. Two large gates are located at the east and west ends of the inner wall, with walkways leading to the top, allowing horses to ascend.
We’ll then take you to a local restaurant to enjoy some regional cuisine.
Afterward, we’ll travel by car or bus to the Wei & Jin Underground Tomb. The painted bricks on the four walls are vibrant and depict various aspects of politics, economy, military, and culture, earning it the nickname “Underground Art Gallery.”
