Yumen Pass - Explore the Yumen Pass, Yangguan Pass, and the Great Wall of the Han Dynasty. Historically, the Han Dynasty constructed numerous walls to secure the frontier and establish trade routes with the western regions. Unlike other dynasties that used stones or bricks, the Han Dynasty’s Great Wall was built using local sand and weeds, layered alternately. Visit the Yangguan Pass and its museum, where a special souvenir awaits you.

Full day tour to Mogao Caves

Mogao Caves - Accompanied by a PRIVATE cave guide, visit the Mogao Caves & Digital Film Center, one of China’s four most famous grottoes. The site boasts 492 grottoes, 45,000 square meters of murals, 2,400 painted statues, and over 250 residential caves. After lunch, continue to explore three additional special caves not open to the public.

Dunhuang Theater - In the evening, enjoy China’s top dance drama, THE SILK ROAD, for 90 minutes. VIP seats will be arranged.

Yulin Caves & Suoyangcheng Ruins

Yulin Grotto - Visit the Yulin Grottoes, which share the same origins in content, artistic style, and painting form as the Mogao Grottoes, earning it the title of its sister site. The tour includes three special caves.

Suoyangchengzhen - Explore the ruins of Suoyangcheng, a significant Silk Road stop listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2015. Admission is included.

Mingsha Mountain & Crescent Moon Spring, Farewell to Dunhuang.

Mingsha Shan - Echoing-Sand Mountain - Visit the Crescent Moon Spring and the Singing-Sand Dunes. This magical spring, located amidst the sand dunes, has never been buried by sand throughout history.

Dunhuang - After lunch, transfer to Dunhuang Airport (DNH) for your flight to the next city, or head to Dunhuang Railway Station to catch a speed train to Jiayuguan, Zhangye, Xining, or Lanzhou. We can assist with booking speed train tickets.
